It?s very true that they?ve branched out into other series and the new guy is definitely making that push. I was talking a bit more pre-legacy to be honest. Like sure you can get an armada Megatron from combiner wars but it was basically g1 Megs with a new head and new paint. Crap like that. Also, and this is more a knock on Hasbro as a toy company, the toys aren?t that great for what they cost now. The fact that only like 7 years ago, the price of a deluxe fig (roughly 5in fig) was $15 and now is $25. Yes inflation is a *female dog* but the rising prices technically started before that. Actually the prices started going up pre-COVID for that matter. The toys now don?t do the legacy non-g1 characters justice. Some are really questionable repaints and others are just poor quality.

Bringing the focus back to power rangers though, I also think Hasbro doesn?t put much effort into power rangers as it currently stands because they don?t technically own the designs, unless it?s created by them like cosmic fury. The don?t have full creative control and I think that?s what has hindered them fully integrating the IP into Hasbro full force. I think they will try and basically not do something toei and Bandai of Japan creates and do something completely new and I wonder if contracts are holding them back more than we know.
