Decent introduction arc for Bun Violet and Byun D. Sakito's tragic backstory is real, like, a kid shouldn't have had to experience that at all. Where the hell was the foster care system? I can't blame him for hating Earth and wanting to leave, since he was basically treated as human trash. His childhood friend was all he had left until Byun D adopted him. This explains the "great darkness in his heart" and his "desperate method to wipe it away". He fears that anybody he gets close to will eventually leave him behind, so he only believes in power and money to live comfortably, which is a sad and lonely existence. It kind of shows how Taiya's "take the handle" thing can go too far if it means you have nobody to share the road with, so it's appropriate that he feels personally responsible for healing Sakito's trauma.

I wonder how ISA will interact with our new Ranger. ISA serve the law, while Sakito is all about the Chaos, so there's potential for intriguing conflict here. ISA can't just threaten to confiscate his stuff like they could with the core 5, which means they'll have to find alternative methods to keep this space mercenary in check.

The race driver on the trading card that Sakito had is Shu Matsuba, a nod to known race driver Michael Schumacher. Looks like Sakito designed Bun Violet based on Matsuba's racing suit. I hope that Schumacher continues his recovery as well.
