As far as endings go, there's been a few attempts at fan made endings but most never felt like they would actually work. Oddly most seem to end with an alliance between chronos and the guyver.

When it comes to the 2005 anime specifically, I think it would've been better if they'd written the battle atop the Relic as the ending. Like, have Sho attain Gigantic there via fusing with the ship, they beat the Zoalords, and everyone gets a happy ending.
