Well yeah, Valen only got dehenshined due to him heroically risking his body to prevent Early from escaping with Emi, so it seems respectful for Gavv to reciprocate at that point, as their circumstances could easily have been the other way around. Hanto earned the right to know.

I think Eclipyon's suggestion sounds plausible, that they'd rather die together (literally) than live apart. However, if one of them dies first, my intuition tells me that it would be Theta, setting up Jeep to become the arc-finale villain to avenge his sister.

The main problem with your theory is that Granute Wolf was already fitted with the red Gavv during his rampage. I recall the human side only caused Shouma to be born with a deformed Gavv, so Bouche asked Dente to transplant the prosthetic red one to make him function like a healthy Granute. However, I believe there is definitely a connection between Granute Wolf's rampage and the red Gavv.
