Hanto openly shows his care for Shoma by looking after him, carrying him, and feeding him whenever Shoma asks. The scene in which Shoma is found and asks for food reminds me of earlier episodes when he was discovered by strangers, but this time, it's someone he knows well. However, Hanto begins to uncover more of Shoma's secrets during Shoma's confrontation with the twins, where Shoma admits that they are his mother's murderers. Hanto also learns that the Granutes are attacking under the orders of Stomach Inc.

Shoma sharing his cake with Sachika happens earlier than I expected, rather than at the end of the episode, which is often the case in other KR episodes. The boys work hard to keep Rider's belongings a secret from Sachika, sidelining her even though it's clear that something is wrong with Shoma, who is hurt. Sachika even considers calling the police, taking a picture as evidence, or trying to help them with a baseball bat. It seems she doesn't remember how strong Shoma is from his previous jobs.

If Shoma understands how kind Sachika is, there should be no issue with Sachika knowing that Shoma is a Rider and a half-Granute; she should accept him unconditionally. Though it may be done because she is a normal human and more vulnerable to Granutes, but she also previously participated in the Rider's fight against Granute Dean. So far, Sachika's influence on Shoma is shown passively, where living with her provides him with more energy and motivates him to make specifically her happy.

The backstory of the twins is further revealed during their birthday celebration. The party is short-lived, as their other siblings quickly return to work. No one pays them any attention to them due to how busy everyone is, except each other, which explains their devotion to each other. They feel jealous of Bouche giving more attention to Shoma, despite that he's being abusive. They only hate Shoma by this, but not others, due to anti-human views the Stomachs have.

However, it doesn't minimize how evil they're, as Shoma points out, that they're murdering Michiru and also harming many innocents just to lure him. They also declare to attempt to destroy humanity out of spite. They also abuse their own Agents who failed to find Shoma. Though Shoma's not happy about it and imagines if they can actually get along, Shoma'd finish them off to stop them, albeit only Shita got killed. Shoma has this thought about them despite never doing so for Bouche.

Shoma doesn't only have Gochizos as minions, but with CaKing, now he has his own Agent-like minions as well in Whip Soldiers, combating the twins summoning Agents in a bigger number than ever. Gavv breaking a bridge to use its remains to squash his enemies is gold here. CaKing weakness is the form being draining. I thought Nyelv showing up may get the twins saved, but he didn't. But now it's revealed that Nyelv knows Suga, visiting him at the end of the episode.

Still, I felt like it would’ve been nice if they would’ve just gotten along, Shoma did so too, but it didn’t stop him from doing the right thing. Letting them go is too dangerous.

The previous year's show did an even bolder take on this; not even being the trusted best friend for the rest of your life stops Houtaro from doing the right thing and not letting the Malgam Hopper-1 go, killing it to protect humans from being attacked by it.

Prior to the debut of the series I was rather skeptic about the design and show premise. I'm glad I was so wrong, the series at this point seems better in my personal ranking than every other Reiwa Era show, except for Geats which is still sitting a the the top (just for clarity sake, from best to worst it goes like this: Geats, Gavv, Revice, Zero-One, Gotchard, Saber).

Gavv should be automatically at the top for not resorting to giving juvenile redemption arcs.
