A book called 25 Super Sentai Series Complete Material Book that was published in 2001 stated briefly that the helmet design has a Zenar card motif. Takeyuki Suzuki, who was one of the producers, however, said in another publication that it has more to do with just representing numbers 5 through 1, and there are no correlations. That said, I personally am convinced that maybe the design department took inspiration from them despite the main motif being ancient civilizations and decided to run with it.
