Like I said last week in episode 15 thread
here
, Hanto/KR Valen is indeed kidnapped by the crab Granute and Jeebh's agents. And yeah, Shouma/KR Gavv fails to prevent it because he's exhausted due to using the Caking RG. Buuuuuttttt, if KR Gavv Bushel form was already able to kill Shita's and Jeebh's agents at the end of episode 13, then why doesn't he use the Bushel RG instead of the Caking RG that uses up so much energy to the point of total exhaustion? If the Caking RG was only required to fight general-level villains like Shita, Jeebh, and other Stomach siblings, then why the heck does Shouma decide to use the Caking RG to destroy mere agents in this scene? Heck, even KR Gavv Gurucan form was able to destroy Lango's agents in episode 11. Shouma/KR Gavv is pissed off @ 01:03, but he can only blame it on his own idiotic, irrational, nonsensical decision-making skill. Yep, once again it's clear: Shouma is a 1000% dumb protagonist. His decision to use the Caking RG makes no sense at all. The reason is obviously because Bandai needs to shill the DX Caking RG, but if the negative side effect of the use of the Caking RG can create a huge idiot (sub)plot like this one, then why the heck did the writers put it in the first place? Don't know! It seems like the writers of this series
love
shooting themselves in the foot. Oh, and there were only 2 of Jeebh's agents that were involved in the crab Granute's cheap farce in episode 15 @ 18:20 and they were destroyed by KR Gavv Caking form, but when the camera switched to the fight between KR Valen vs the crab Granute, there are 2 other agents of Jeebh who assist the crab Granute. Bizarro writing at its finest.
Lango's agent is showing the Hito Pressed humans collected by Lage 9 to Lango and Glotta. And yes, they're impressed by their high-quality. Like Glotta says @ 01:45, it seems like she and Lango have already known about Lage 9's modus operandi and his very very
very
convenient happiness-maximization power. Lango says @ 02:15 that he's glad that Lage 9 got hooked on Dark Snacks, but I don't think that's the case. As shown @ 09:46, an agent gives him a box of Dark Snacks as a reward for the high-quality Hito Pressed humans that he's just collected in a movie theater, but he just tosses the box and doesn't actually eat the Dark Snacks. In episode 12 @ 10:30 when he acted like a high, desperate junkie who attempted to steal a box of Dark Snacks and was promptly restrained by 2 agents, he was just faking it. So, Lage 9 likely has never got hooked on Dark Snacks in the first place. I have a hypothesis that Lage 9 could be a spy from the Granute police department like I mentioned in episode 6 thread
here
, although his undercover operation was still limited to the Granute world, and his only way of entering the human world was through Stomach's portal, which required him to infiltrate Stomach as a part-timer. It makes sense for Lage 9 to throw away the reward Dark Snacks because an undercover cop will never get high on the drugs sold by the organization they're infiltrating. Lage 9's convenient power is likely used to gain Lango's trust which will allow him to climb up Stomach's corporate ladder and investigate them further, and perhaps to sabotage their operations from inside as well. Lage 9 would likely cooperate with Lango for several episodes and would finally betray him in episodes 25-30 and side with Shouma/KR Gavv and Hanto/KR Valen. Bonus point to Lage 9 if he gets hooked on Sachika, not Dark Snacks, haha.
Shouma says to Dente @ 03:54 that he hoped that the crab Granute could be rehabilitated, but Dente says that Dark Snacks addiction can't be cured. So yeah, it seems like Lage 9 has never got hooked on Dark Snacks in the first place. Shouma says @ 04:6 that he hasn't told Hanto that he's a a human-Granute hybrid, and Dente agrees that he should keep quiet since if Hanto/KR Valen knows that Shouma is a human-Granute hybrid then he'll also make Shouma his next target. Seriously, Shouma? You showed in episode 14 @ 09:39 right in front of Hanto's two eyes that you understood the Gochizou's language, so by that very moment Hanto should've been 99,999% sure that you're not a normal human, Shouma. That scene in episode 14, where Shouma was also shown to chose to go to the Mizoguchi warehouse after reading Shita & Jeebh's ransom note, not the station where the explosion occurred, should've already informed Hanto of Shouma's true nature as a non-human. I've been hypothesizing that the plot of the main conflict between Hanto and Shouma in later episodes would not be about Hanto finding out about Shouma's identity as a Rider, but about Hanto finding out about Shouma's identity as a human-Granute hybrid who might also have been the Wolf Granute who kidnapped his mom 18 years ago. Hanto would likely be very surprised when he finally found out about it, which would mean that his plot is an idiot plot. Hanto: "So, you're not a human, Shouma?!" Me: "No shit, Sherlock."
Hanto is kidnapped and locked up inside an empty warehouse, and the crab Granute very very
very
conveniently left the Valen Buster on a table there right in front of Hanto's line of sight. Yep, that screams dumb plot point, haha. The crab Granute should've kept it in a very safe place, or just deliver it right to Lango or Glotta. But does Lango and or Glotta know that all this time Nyelv has been conspiring with Kenzou to make Hanto transform into KR Valen? As shown in episode 8, it seems like Glotta doesn't recognize KR Valen, so it's very likely that she (and also Lango) doesn't know that KR Valen and the Valen Buster was created by Kenzou who has been conspiring with Nyelv. But, if Kenzou's research on Granutes and the development of the Valen Buster has been financed by Stomach via Nyelv as his conspirator, then does it mean that Lango and Glotta are giant fools who are ignorant about the details of Stomach corporation's finance? Don't know! It makes sense if Nyelv has been conspiring with Kenzou by using his own money and resources, but the scale of the development of Valen Buster required financing and resources from a huge organization like Stomach. If Nyelv is indeed able to control Stomach's financial and move Stomach's resources as he pleases, then yes, Lango and Glotta are the biggest fools among corporate executives.
In the scene @ 05:21 it's revealed that Jeebh's agents that were involved in the crab Granute's cheap farce in episode 15 @ 18:20 simply because he wanted to capture Shouma/KR Gavv. My hypothesis in episode 15 thread last week is proven wrong because Hanto's kidnapping has nothing to do at all with Nyelv's new Driver. Jeebh's is disappointed because the person he kidnapped is Hanto, not Shouma whom he has had grudge against since Shita was killed by Shouma/KR Gavv Caking form at the end of episode 14. So, the crab Granute is a very very
very
stupid, illogical, irrational person with zero common sense because he was very specifically ordered by Jeebh to kidnap Shouma/the red Gavv/KR Valen, not Hanto/KR Valen. Why the heck did he change his plan and kidnap Hanto/KR Valen instead? If the crab Granute is a normal, rational person with common sense and normal reasoning ability, then he'd have very very
very
easily kidnapped the weak, collapsed Shouma/KR Gavv due to his idiotic decision to use the Caking RG. Hanto/KR Valen being beaten down only made it much easier since he couldn't help Shouma/KR Gavv anymore. So, why the heck didn't the crab Granute take the weak, collapsed Shouma/KR Gavv who sabotaged himself and put himself on a silver spoon?
Why the heck didn't the crab Granute kidnap the weak, collapsed Shouma/KR Gavv and kidnap Hanto/KR Valen instead?
Or better, why the heck didn't the crab Granute kidnap the weak, collapsed Shouma/KR Gavv
and
Hanto/KR Valen?
The answer is clear: Because this story is very very
very
lazily, poorly, sloppily written. If the crab Granute did kidnap the weak, collapsed Shouma/KR Gavv, then this series would've ended in episode 15 due to Shouma being tortured to death by Jeebh. This series would be broadcasted today in episode 16 as KR Valen since KR Gavv had already been dead in episode 15. Gosh, what a hilariously, laughably, miserably sloppy, lazy, convoluted, heavy-handed, and atrocious writing!
The most fundamental equation in KR Gavv's story:
Common sense = 0
The crab Granute didn't kidnap the weak, collapsed Shouma/KR Gavv, and kidnap Hanto/KR Valen instead, because, as usual, the crab Granute is programmed by the writers to dispense infodump to Hanto. He's doing a very convenient monologue @ 06:34 as an infodump for Hanto who is acting unconscious there. His infodump is telling Hanto that Lango is the big shot leader of Stomach. His dialogue @ 10:37 with Lango's agent is also an infodump for Hanto where they mention the door/portal to the Granute world. The crab Granute has been making so many stupid, illogical, irrational decisions with zero common sense because he's only a tool to dispense infodump to Hanto. Very convenient!
Also, in the same scene @ 10:37 the crab Granute tells Lango's agent that the person he's captured is KR Valen, and even Hanto himself is offering crucial info such as the weakness of KR Gavv, but why the heck does the agent say that she doesn't need human info? Haven't Glotta and Lango still not known about KR Valen? Now that Hanto/KR Valen is captured by the crab Granute, why the heck don't they allow Hanto/KR Valen to be taken to the Granute world? Why the heck does the agent tell the crab Granute to keep collecting Hito Presses? It makes no sense at all, unless Lango and Glotta have already known about Hanto/KR Valen and Nyelv-Kenzou's conspiration/joint research.
Shouma goes to the warehouse where Hanto is kept @ 12:29, and he's manipulated again by the crab Granute. Shouma's finally got captured by the crab Granute. So, like I mentioned earlier, why didn't the crab Granute kidnap Shouma/KR Gavv when he was exhausted at the beginning of this episode? Gosh, what a convoluted, heavy-handed writing. Once again, @ 15:12 Shouma is showing right in front of Hanto's two eyes that he's not a normal human when he's ordering his Gochizous to untie him, and Hanto is
still
unable to connect the dots. Yep, this story is definitely, patently, certifiably an idiot plot. Oh, and @ 17:43 Hanto is indeed taking back the Valen Buster that was put on a table nearby by the crab Granute earlier. I laughed so hard at that scene, haha, because it was sooooooooooooooo hilariously, predictably dumb. Wow, what an impressively bad writing! *facepalm
In the scene @ 21:30 Hanto is suspecting that Shouma perhaps know something crucial and is hiding it from him. I was like, "Duh. You should've already arrived at that conclusion several episodes ago, Hanto." Likewise, @ 21:54 Shouma is wondering whether he'll be able to tell Hanto that he's a human-Granute hybrid. I was like, "Duh. You already did it in episode 14 when you show that you could read Granute alphabets. Not to mention that you've showed several times right in front of his two eyes that you can communicate with Gochizous." The inner thoughts of these 2 people with room temperature IQ has become increasingly, facepalm-inducingly cringy.
Nyelv is showing the his completed new Driver @ 22:22. Dang, it looks veeeeeeeeeery nice indeed. The color combination of metallic dark blue, metallic orange, and metallic yellow looks very nice. Like I hypothesized last week in episode 15 thread
here
, it does feature a crank lever on the user's right-hand side. The crank lever might work like Sclash Driver's up-down crank lever, not rotary ones like on the Build Driver/Evol Driver and Henshin Belt Gavv. The trinket used is the Doppudding RG, a new RG that doesn't look like Shouma's RG's due to its tubular shape. Is it also a one-use trinket like Shouma's RG's? Due to it being created by Nyelv, it's very likely that it's not a one-use trinket.
The user is actually Lage 9. In episode 15 @ 08:46 Nyelv experimented with a cup of pudding he received from Kenzou earlier and said that it'd also suit "him" while reviewing some kind of a white paper/schematics. Nyelv's statement here actually meant that the pudding's soft texture suited Lage 9's motif as a jellyfish Granute. I should've seen this, although I did mention that there was still a lower possibility that Lango or even Lage 9 could be the one who would transform into KR Vlam. But aren't jelly snacks or jelly drinks better suited motifs for a jellyfish Granute? Anyway, I hope he'd become KR Vlam permanently until the end of the story, and not become a mere initial test subject like Sabimaru who transformed into KR Dread.
Now that Lage 9 is proven as the one who transforms into KR Vlam, then Jeebh would very likely transform into the rumored KR Bitter Gavv, the dark version of KR Gavv who will transform with the Sparkin Gummy RG as shown on the newest poster posted on KR Official website this morning. Jeebh would likely ask Nyelv for or be offered by Nyelv an operation on his Gavv based on Dente's original procedure on Shouma. But, Jeebh is a pure Granute, unlike Shouma who is a human-Granute hybrid. So, would Dente's procedure actually make Jeebh much stronger than Shouma/KR Gavv? I think so. I bet he'll be the one who kick Lage 9/KR Vlam's butt when he finds out that Lage 9 is an undercover cop, haha.
Next week:
Nyelv says in the preview section @ 23:09 that the deal between "you" and "me" is done. Is it his deal with Kenzou, or with Lage 9? It seems like Nyelv and Lage 9 had a deal where Nyelv would give his new Driver to Lage 9 if he's able to climb up Stomach's corporate ladder, and Lage 9, being and undercover cop, would find a Driver crucially useful for protecting him from harm. Nyelv could be scheming to use Lage 9 to topple Lango from the CEO position, and by using data harvested from his new Driver/trinket that is used Lage 9/KR Vlam, he's likely already planning to develop his own ultimate Driver. Nyelv has likely already known or at least suspected that Lage 9 could be an undercover cop, and he let Lage 9 use his new Driver in the hope that Lage 9 would ultimately defeat Lango. In the resulting power vacuum, Nyelv would then use his ultimate Driver to seize the position of Stomach CEO and consolidate power for himself, and perhaps even change the direction of Stomach corporation altogether. The only problem with my hypothesis is I can't really find where to put Glotta in the whole situation, haha. Or maybe it's simply Nyelv's deal with Kenzou.
Lage 9's debut as KR Vlam. Based on how it looks like in this episode and in the preview section, it seems like Nyelv's new Driver is detachable, unlike Shouma's Henshin Belt Gavv. The Driver looks nice, but the whole look of KR Vlam is average. Based on his power from the Doppudding RG, KR Vlam could have a body liquefaction ability like KR Black RX Bio Rider form and KR Necrom. Lage 9's debut as KR Vlam would be broadcasted on January 5, 2025, so yeah, he's the New Year's Rider. His debut would likely also reveal the clandestine organization he's working for, if he's indeed working for one, which I think is the Granute police department or other law enforcement agencies, like I hypothesized in episode 6 thread
here
and mentioned in KR Gotchard episode 50 thread
here
and elaborated in episode 4 thread
here
. Oh, and KR Vlam as the third Rider would likely kick KR Gavv Caking form's ass, haha.
Mmmmmaaaaayyyyybbbbbeeeee...
