The main part of the episode with the rescue of Hanto, the reconciliation of fellow riders and the homage to the gifts of the Magi was predictable, but enjoyable. It seemed to me that it was in Shoma’s character to reveal more information about himself under an influx of feelings, as in the case of his mother’s death, but, apparently, Hanto would not have accepted this, and the writers did not want to spoil the atmosphere of the Christmas episode.
What is more interesting is the future Kamen Rider Vlam, for now Lage9.His dismissive attitude towards Dark Snacks shows that he is most likely not a drug addict, but an undercover agent trying to uncover all the secrets of Stomatch Inc. This also coincides with Denta, who regrets creating drugs but is quite dismissive of human lives. I think that's the mentality of most Granutes. As for Lage9 himself, only time will tell whether he acts alone or is part of the police/government/other powerful family of the Granute world.
Sachika encourages Shoma and at the same time reminds the audience that friends are not those who blow each other’s boots off.
Jeebh actually surprised me. The Granute Crab gave him a unique opportunity: to take revenge on Shoma with the death of a loved one and combat partner. But he refuses.It seems that it was not for nothing that the older siblings had a very low opinion of the twins. Although this may be the first step towards changing Jeebh.
Kamen Rider Vlam is beautiful in its retro style. I'm looking forward to his debut and how he will change the balance of power on the show.
