If this were a thread where I was writing about Gaim, I'd probably be praising Kouta's wild thrashing at least as effusively, to tell the truth. For me, what I value above all else with this stuff (it's the same deal with belt sounds/suit designs and such too) is how much I feel it fits a character's personality or role, or gives the series a unique identity or vibe... things like that, rather than strictly my own aesthetic tastes. Generally speaking, I actually prefer slightly more dynamic poses, but for this hero in this show, I would never want anything besides what they went with.
