He still does! The guy organizing the event knows Mr. Harada personally and has eaten at his restaurant. Mr.Harada both runs the restaurant and still acts on the side. He promotes a healthy and ethical lifestyle on his social media, as well as highlighting ethical products and positive community programs, such as a children's soccer league. He's very nice lol and is loves meeting fans. This event is really just him wanting to visit NYC and meet fans in the U.S! Its actually his first visit to the states haha. The event itself is non-profit, all pricing is pretty much to just cover the costs of holding the event itself. So pricing will be much much lower than con prices for autographs and photos. The organizers want the event to be as accessible as possible. If all goes well, and turnout is good, we may be getting more toku actors visiting NYC for similar events! So please support if you can. A lot of love, time, and effort has been put into making this event possible for the fans.
