Sachika was a 100% complete stranger, but now she's Shouma's friend, which is more than Shouma can say about any of his patrilineal family besides Dente. Her lack of shared backstory doesn't make her irrelevant, since she has emotional significance. Caking only exists due to her nurturing trait, which you value in heroines, but now you're dismissing it. Once more, your idea of a good heroine is clearly different to mine. Due to the fact that a Rider who sucks at doing physical things would get beaten up and probably killed like Letter. Like, sure, becoming a Rider doesn't necessarily add anything to a character, but it doesn't take away either. The only possible downside is that the suit could suck (Aguilera) or scrap a better suit (R.I.P. Kanon Specter). It sounds like you expect me to disagree with Hina and Kohana being Rider candidates, but I'd actually be cool with that. For Kabuto though, I would suggest Misaki before Renge.
