In the case of Kakuranger, it could be an attempt at playing it both ways cause Power Rangers was already popular and they may have been taking that into consideration with God Kark (Crane Ninjazord), and the primary consideration for this hypothesis is the working theory that Zyu2 footage was being filmed almost simultaneously with Kakuranger (Zaigan of Super Sentai World uses the same Sword of Power prop used by RoboGoat, Primator is monkey-themed like God Sauder [Ape Ninjazord] and uses a functionally-similar dual-blade sword-staff weapon).
