It's more about the spirit of the action more than anything. Cruger erases everyone's' memories so that no one is treated unfairly by the laws of time travel.

Oh yeah, that's a very good read. Jack has definitely seen how his teammates have grown over time; Sky especially. So there's no doubt he's confident that his friends are more than capable.

Yeah. While one could easily make the argument for him staying with SPD, I think him setting out on his own, pursuing his own passions, is alot more fitting of a way to go.
