Yep, the 100 RG's are depleted all at once in just a single use due to being used as fuels for the Gochipod RG. In the scene @ 01:46, Shouma is asking why Nyelv disappeared without a trace. Well, Shouma,
of course
he disappeared without a trace. Why would he, an obviously scheming villain who is already known to be more than willing to use other people as pawns, allow himself to be endangered by helping the defeated Magen/KR Bitter Gavv? It's so weird that Shouma is even asking this question.
Nyelv finds the defeated Magen/KR Bitter Gavv @ 02:08. He says that Shouma/KR Gavv's power was too much and uncontrollable. Perhaps using 100 RG's at once only provided raw, uncontrollable power, like Shouma hinted earlier @ 01:40. Nyelv says that he underestimated Shouma/KR Gavv and Dente, and needs to make adjustments. Perhaps he's planning to try several riskier modifications to Magen's Henshin Belt Bitter Gavv (and future Henshin Belt Bitter Gavv users as well) to produce more raw power.
Shouma says @ 04:25 that he needs to gather 100 new RG's to fuel the Gochipod RG, but he finds that all his remaining stock of snacks was already eaten up by Dente, so he decides to buy them at the same candy/snack shop shown in episodes 30-31. Yea, like I hypothesized in my post in episode 31 thread
here
, this candy/snack shop does have something to do with the creation of the Gochipod RG, though not the initial creation. In the scene @ 05:31 Shouma is about to buy 4 packs of Poppin Gummy candies at once, but refrains from doing so because a kid is also about to buy it. He also refrains from buying several other products. He says to the shopkeeper @ 05:55 that he doesn't want to buy it all for himself. Well, Shouma, if you desperately need 100 packs of candies/snacks to create 100 new RG's to fuel the Gochipod RG, but you don't want to buy all of the stocks in one shop because a local kid also wants it, then why the heck don't you just buy from
other
shops?
Why don't you just buy from the other nearby convenience stores and vending machines?
There are a gazillion of convenience stores and vending machines in Tokyo, and I bet all my net worth that you'd find 2 or 3 convenience stores/vending machines within walking distance from Hapipare, so why don't you just buy from those places instead?
Also, by buying from other convenience stores/vending machines, Shouma would be able to find many different types of candies/snacks, so he'd be able to create many different types of RG, some of which are even new because the fiercely competitive nature of the candy/snack business often requires manufacturers to create new products to keep up with the competition and market demands. The fact that Shouma doesn't even consider buying from other convenience stores/vending machines is just another proof of why this story is soooooooooooooooo dumb.
Aaaaannnnnddddd... Like I hypothesized in my posts in episode 32
here
and 33
here
, in the scene @ 06:14 Sachika, Dente, Hanto, and Lage 9 are making homemade candies/snacks. They're making cotton candy, pancake, and fries.
Liselle says to Glotta @ 07:06 that she wants to be friend with her. Naturally, Glotta dismisses her and is suspicious of her motive. Jeebh appears while using Shita's Mimic Key and says to Glotta that he needs Liselle to fulfill his revenge on Shouma/KR Gavv Caking form for killing Shita in episode 14. By confronting Glotta with Jeebh and then calling her the most half-hearted of all the siblings, it seems very likely that Liselle is trying to sow the seeds of disintegration within the Stomach family. So yea, she's a spoiled rich brat with a strong sadistic tendencies. It'd be poetic justice if she's killed not by the Riders, but by one or several of the people she's manipulating, which could be Glotta, Lango, or heck, even
Jeebh
, haha.
In the scene @ 08:35, Magen is visiting a public place in the human world, and proceeds to wreck it with the Bake Magnum which Nyelv said in the flashback scene was improved. It turns out he's the one who uses the Bake Magnum, not Lango, though he only uses it as a weapon, not a transformation device. Magen uses it to trap several humans inside an almost collapsed building, and he says that he's planning to sell them to Nyelv later. Is this what Nyelv meant when he said to Lango in episode 33 @ 05:30 that the reworked Bake Magnum would help Lango gather more Hito Pressed humans?
Well, if the humans are suffering under the collapsed building, then doesn't it mean that the Hito Presses that are created from them are the lowest of the lowest of the lowest quality?
It means that Magen knows nothing about how high-quality Dark Snacks are produced. I get it if Magen knows nothing about Dark Snack production because he's just an outsider, but what's even stupider is if this was how Nyelv actually intended to use the improved Bake Magnum. I still wonder what happens if a Granute uses the Bake Magnum.
Shouma says @ 09:28 that there are no RG's produced after eating the homemade candies/snacks due to an unknown reason. He wants to stop Magen's rampage but is prevented by Sachika because he hasn't gathered 100 RG's. As shown @ 10:00, there are only 90 RG's. The shopkeeper said @ 05:59 that the total price of the candies/snacks that Shouma bought was 1200 JPY, so if 1200 JPY allowed him to create 90 RG's, then why doesn't he simply spend another 100-200 JPY to buy additional candies/snacks that are required to create the remaining 10 RG's?
If the homemade candies/snacks fail to be converted into RG's, then why doesn't Shouma simply revert to using factory-made candies/snacks?
Heck, even the total price 100-200 JPY that he needs to create the remaining 10 RG's are even much much
much
cheaper than the total price of the ingredients that are used to make the homemade candies/snacks. Heck, even Dente says later @ 11:25 that there are only 3 more RG's to go, which means that price of the candies/snacks that Shouma needs to buy is even much cheaper than 100-200 JPY! Like I've said several times, the solution is sooooooooooooooooooo painfully obvious, but the writers decided
not
to use it simply because the solution would've annihilated the the carefully planned, uber-convoluted plot. *facepalm
Like I said earlier, Dente says @ 11:25 that there are only 3 more RG's to go. Sachika thinks that Shouma's inability to produce RG's is because he's trying too hard to eat. His notebook reminds him that candies/snacks are not tools for fighting and that he needs to remember the joy of eating them. Just in time, the almond cookies are completed, and he eats it along with ohagi and crepe. As expected, after this pRoFoUnD realization, he's able to create 3 new RG's based on those snacks. This is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo weird. If Shouma is unable to produce RG's because he's overeating and trying too hard to eat, then how the heck was he able to produce the other 97 RG's?
If he forgot the joy of eating candies/snacks because he was/is in a rush to produce 100 RG's, then how the heck was he able to produce the earlier 97 RG's?
The answer: Plot convenience for shilling new toys. I get that Bandai needed to shill 3 new RG's (whose names I don't even bother to look up, haha
), but couldn't the writers do it in a more competent manner, not in a dumb, heavy-handed manner like this? Heck, if Bandai needed to shill new RG's based on traditional Japanese candies/snacks/confectionaries, then they should've done that a long time ago in episode 17 @ 00:25 when Shouma and Sachika were attending a mochitsuki/mochi pounding festival, where it was shown @ 00:46 that Shouma was eating mochi along with 2 other traditional Japanese snacks. *another facepalm
So yeah, Magen/KR Bitter Gavv is unceremoniously killed by Shouma/KR Gavv Gochipod form Over Mode. His death more and more only makes him feel like a random Granute of the week, not a major villain. The fact that Bocca even allows Magen to be endangered, let alone be killed, proves that he's the ultimate stupid politician who indirectly killed his own goose that lays golden eggs. Very impressive, Bocca... Impressively stupid, haha.
Also, is this the end of the Bake Magnum? Nyelv must be stupid as well if he allows the Bake Magnum to be unceremoniously destroyed along with Magen.
Dente is likely dead, perhaps due to having his own teeth removed (which he said to Shouma @ 01:12 that it was due to cavity)... Or due to high LDL cholesterol count from eating way too much processed foods, haha.
Bocca is making an important announcement @ 20:50 where he's promoting Nyelv as his technical developer directly under him. Glotta is visibly pissed off and wondering if Nyelv is abandoning them, while Lango has come to the most pRoFoUnD epiphany that Nyelv's indeed been planning to betray him. Surprise surprise, Lango Mango! Haha.
Yep, Lango Mango is as stupid as I thought he was. Now that Magen is dead, who are the oligarchs that Bocca is gonna use to fund his political ambition and maintain his position of power? Like I said above, it still makes no sense at all how Bocca allows Magen to be endangered, let alone be killed. Bocca is planning to increase Stomach corporation's Dark Snack production up to 10 million units, an absurdly high target that even Glotta is baffled by. The weird thing in this scene is where Jeebh and Liselle says @ 22:25 that the Zeludac family will pay for the Hito Presses, something which Lango Mango also agrees on. Hito Presses are basically captured humans, so they can't just buy it using their money. No matter the amount of money they (the Zeludac family and or Stomach family) have, if they can't capture so many high-quality humans then the absurdly high target of 10 million units is virtually impossible to reach, not to mention the interferences from the vengeance trio Riders
. Also, if they focus on quantity, not quality, the low-quality Hito Presses would only produce low amount of Dark Snacks. They should've used Magen's money to recruit new part-timers in mass. Lango Mango is making a bold, confident statement that he'll capture many high-quality Hito Presses, so I'm interested to see how he reaches Booca's absurdly high target of 10 million units.
Next week:
Wow, Ritsu returns after missing for 33(!) episodes straight. Ritsu was said to be Sachika's best friend, so why the heck was she gone for 33(!) episodes straight?
Like I elaborated in my post in episode 26 thread
here
, Ritsu's utter absence makes no sense at all for Sachika's character development. The several possible excuses for Ritsu's utter absence are being sick/hospitalized, working or going on a training abroad, going on a vacation with her family, being busy with college matters, etc.
Hanto discovers that mass disappearance cases are happening again. Are these caused by the recruit of new part-timers or solely by Lango Mango? If it's solely caused by Lango Mango then how does he do that? I'd like to see how he Hito Presses humans in real-time. Based on what's shown in the preview section @ 23:11, it seems like that Lango Mango's modus operandi for capturing high number of humans at once is almost identical to the one used by Go-Jaaza-Gi/hammerhead shark Grongi/Unidentified Lifeform #44 in KR Kuuga from episodes 37-41 when she boarded into several airplanes and killed all the passengers, crews, and pilots during flights, and in Lango Mango's case, he would likely also employ the help of several part-timers who disguise as flight attendants as shown @ 23:11. If this is indeed Lango Mango's actual modus operandi, then it must be very hard to reach Bocca's absurdly high target of 10 million units of Dark Snacks because humans who are captured during stressful situations can only be converted into low-quality Hito Presses. Capturing humans to be converted into Hito Presses is faaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrr different from the Grongi's Gegeru game. The goal of the Gegeru is simply to kill as many humans as possible by using each Grongi's unique ability and method of choice, and
how
the victims were killed very rarely mattered, while capturing humans to be converted into Hito Presses depends in proportion to the quality of the mental state of the victims. But hey, it's KR Gavv, a story that's demonstrated to be completely insulated from logic, rationality, and common sense, so expecting a logical coherence from KR Gavv's story is like waiting for an apple to fall...
Under a mango tree,
or rather, a Lango Mango tree, haha.
This episode also marks the debut of Lango Mango's full Granute form (and his sword). Based on what's shown in the preview section @ 23:18, he's still able to withstand Shouma/KR Gavv Gochipod form Over Mode's one punch KO attacks, so, as usual, perhaps he's the one who'd be the first punching bag for KR Gavv Gochipod form Master Mode's debut between episodes 36-38. Nyelv and Magen say in episode 34 @ 02:15 and @ 17:32 that KR Gavv Gochipod form Over Mode's power is still uncontrollable, so it's very likely that it could be controlled by the Master Mode. There's even a possibility that Over Mode could cause Shouma to go berserk. Over mode = Overpower; Master mode = Master/control.
Mmmmmaaaaayyyyybbbbbeeeee...
