In the scene @ 04:11, Glotta is given the liquid copy of Lage 9's plot-convenient hApPiNeSs neurotoxin (which gaseous version was used by Lango Mango and his crews in episodes 35-36) by Liselle inside a perfume bottle. What would it be used for?
In the scene @ 05:20, Shouma, Sachika, and Hanto decide to eat the a la mode pudding in memory of Dente. And yeah, no RG is produced at all when Shouma eats the a la mode pudding. Like I've been asking since my 3rd post in episode 21 thread
here
: Why doesn't Shouma immediately produce an RG based on the a la mode pudding (the Puddinte RG)?
If the writers's excuse was "sHoUmA dOeSn'T pRoDuCe tHe pUdDiNtE rG bEcAuSe hE's sTiLl dEePlY sAd aBoUt dEnTe'S dEaTh", then: How the heck could Shouma produce the Poppin Gummy, Punchin Gummy, and Kickin Gummy RG's in episode 1 @ 06:48 after he was given a pack of gummy candies by Hajime the kid of the week?
If Shouma requires hApPiNeSs in order to be able to produce RG's, then it means that he was in a happy state of mind, only several hours after his mom was brutally murdered by Glotta right in front of his two eyes at the beginning of episode 1. If Dente's death (and his strained friendship in episodes 21-28 with Hanto, a person he barely knows), is already enough to make him unhappy, then the sight of his mom (the only person who treated him well during his 2 decades of existence!) being brutally murdered by Glotta right in front of his two eyes should've made him unhappy beyond belief. He should've been super duper hyper mega ultra depressed and shell-shocked for at least a month. He should've got a severe case of PTSD,
not
hApPiNeSs! Oh, and the events when Shouma ate the gummy candies in episode 1 @ 06:48 and when he eats the a la mode pudding in this episode @ 05:20 are both first-time experiences, so if they have the same eCsTaTiC effect on Shouma (regardless of his hApPiNeSs and mental state) which overcomes his sadness, then the Puddinte RG should be immediately produced. The convoluted plot forced them to have different effect, because well, the writers of this atrocious story have demonstrated that they're total hacks, haha.
.
Gavv 01 @ 06.48
Gosh, the writers and producers of this story really
loved
making the internal logic convoluted. They added a totally unnecessary variable (Shouma's hApPiNeSs and mental state) into the internal logic, and unknowingly wrote themselves into the corner. When they realized that they had written themselves into the corner, they were forced to violate their own convoluted internal logic/rules and create several severe logical anomalies. They reaaaaalllllyyyyy
love
shooting themselves in the foot.
Regarding Dente, there's 1
gigantic
,
colossal
logical anomaly (among a gazillion others) that still hasn't been answered like I've asked since my post in episode 12 thread
here
:
"Why did Stomach let Dente, the most brilliant scientist there, go MIA [or rather, AWOL] for almost 2 decades? Why did they seem to do nothing to prevent Dente from deserting his post? It makes no sense at all for a big corporation to just let their most brilliant, important scientist go MIA [or rather, AWOL] and did nothing to prevent it nor respond to it."
It makes no sense at all that Stomach CEO, whether it's Zomb, Bouche, or Lango Mango, has never attempted to search Dente, be it in the Granute world or in the human world. Dente (Stomach's most brilliant scientist) could've leaked crucial trade secrets of Dark Snack production to Stomach's competitors, or even leaked them to the Granute police/law enforcement as a justice collaborator, so if Stomach CEO's are sane people with normal, healthy, and well-functioning logic, rationality, and common sense, then they would've already considered Dente's disappearance a catastrophic risk for Stomach, and they would've scrambled to search for Dente wherever he was. Heck, Dente didn't even use a Mimic Key/human disguise, so he should be very very
very
easy to find. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, why has Stomach corporation never attempted to search Dente (be it in the Granute world or in the human world) at all?
I think now I've found
the
definitive answer:
Plot convenience
, as always in this atrocious story.
In the scene @ 07:45, Glotta and 2 part-timers are using the liquid copy of Lage 9's plot-convenient hApPiNeSs neurotoxin to brazenly Hito Press several humans in public, including Mr. Kisara, the owner of the kitchenware store in episode 39 last week. She says they need to do it efficiently, but isn't Hito Pressing humans brazenly in public places the complete opposite of efficient?
She's better off sticking to Lango Mango's plan in episodes 35-36 of employing several part-timers to pose as flight attendants/crews to Hito Press all the boarded passengers inside pre-flight planes. In the scene @ 08:22, several RG's are spying on Glotta and her crews' crimes. Yep, once again, this scene proves that Shouma/the protagonists almost always know Stomach's plans beforehand, while Stomach almost always fail to probe even the most basic detail of Shouma/the protagonists' plans. Like I've elaborated since my post in episode 35 thread
here
, these very very
very
blatant instances of information manipulation are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo unfair to the villains. The RG's almost always succeed at gathering intelligence about Stomach's next plans, while the big, conspicuous, and gaudy agents almost always fail at gathering intelligence about the protagonists' next plans. Blatant attempts at manipulating information in the protagonists' favor like this is one of the symptoms of heavy-handed writing. Information manipulation is equal to cheating. As always in this atrocious story, it's plot convenience 101. It's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo painfully obvious that the flow of information is manipulated by the writers in order to make the plot easier to write and more favorable to Shouma/the protagonists. The writers of this story truly
loved
these kinds of very very
very
cheap tricks of information manipulation. It just shows how pathetically, laughably, indefensibly lazy, cheap, sloppy, heavy-handed, and atrocious the writing in this story is. Like I've always said, this atrocious story has got a gazillion instances of plot convenience, and without it, the story would've pathetically crumbled and fallen apart like a house of cards.
Gavv 40 @ 08:23
In the scene @ 08:28, Shouma shows Lage 9 the last video message from Dente recorded by a Zakuzaku Chips RG. There, Dente said that the neutralizer/antidote for his hApPiNeSs neurotoxin (which was copied by Lango Mango and his crews in episodes 35-36) was completed. It's quite likely the neutralizer/antidote would be used in future episodes as
the
ultimate tool to foil Bocca/Liselle's plan to Hito Press huge number of humans at once.
In the scene @ 12:48, the reports about missing people who were Hito Pressed by Glotta and her crews literally 5 minutes earlier have immediately become the talk of the town. So much for eFfIcIeNcY, Glotta! Haha.
In the scene @ 13:11, Glotta is stating her commitment to fulfill Bocca's absurdly high target since she thinks she still has the responsibility of a member of the Stomach family. And again, in the scene @ 13:24, an RG (which name I don't even care to know, haha
) is spying on Glotta and her agents while they're sorting the Hito Pressed humans. Earlier @ 08:22, the RG's know Glotta's plan of Hito Pressing multiple humans, and now, they also know the location where Glotta is storing the Hito Pressed humans. Another rule of this atrocious story:
The protagonists almost always know about 95% of the villains' plans, while the villains are almost always oblivious about 95% of the protagonists' plans.
Gavv's writers and producers: "Information manipulation ftw!" Haha.
Gavv 40 @ 13:25
In the scene @ 13:41, when Shouma is about to use the Gochipod RG, he's just realized that it's almost depleted. Just when he summons the other 100 RG's, Glotta destroyed all of them with just one slash of her scythe without even breaking a single sweat. This scene is just soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo pathetically, laughably, indefensibly stupid. If you already knew that you were about to fight Glotta, then why the heck didn't you prepare and fill the Gochipod RG with 100 RG's in advance before you even stepped out of Sachika's shop, Shouma?
And why the heck are all the 100 RG's decide to arrive from behind
Glotta
, not Shouma, and allow themselves to be easily destroyed by her?
The screenshot @ 13:30 clearly shows that the staircase behind Shouma and Hanto is frakkin wide open without any obstruction at all, so, instead of following Shouma's path and entering the scene from that staircase, why the heck do the RG's decide to enter the scene from the holes on the floors behind Glotta?
My Lord in heaven, this atrocious story is just soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo transparently stupid. Not only all the characters (be it protagonists, villains, or weekly guest characters/villains) are stupid, but the trinkets (the RG's) are
also
stupid, haha.
What's even stupider is the fact that @ 14:02 Glotta herself says to Shouma that being unprepared can cost him his life. You're soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo painfully stupid, Shouma the stupidest protagonist. Haha.
As usual in this atrocious story, one of the main laws of a cheap, lazy, convoluted, atrocious writing applies:
No stupidity = No plot.
Thanks for impressively atrocious story, Gavv's producers and writers! *facepalm while vomiting from the cringe-inducing stupidity of this story
Gavv 40 @ 13:30
In the scene @ 15:18, Lage 9/KR Vram arrives at the fight scene to help Shouma the stupidest protagonist/KR Gavv Blizzardsorbet form, while Hanto/KR Valen is chasing Glotta's agents who are holding the suitcase where the Hito Pressed humans are stored. As expected, Glotta still manages to overwhelm both Lage 9/KR Vram and Shouma the stupidest protagonist/KR Gavv Blizzardsorbet form. Glotta thinks she doesn't need anyone because she can rely on just her strength. She's mocking Lage 9/KR Vram and asks him if his revenge which is solely motivated by her killing Komel, the only family member he had, is already over. She's mocking Lage 9/KR Vram who is weak due to being held back by a shallow notion such as family. Lage 9/KR Vram is then declaring that his journey on revenge is indeed over, and he's found a way to move on from Komel's death by fighting Stomach corporation and stop them from kidnapping more human victims. Aaaaannnnnddddd, just when Lage 9/KR Vram has found a new resolve, in the scene @ 16:45 Shouma the stupidest protagonist/KR Gavv produces the Puddinte RG,
exactly
like I hypothesized last week in my 1st post in episode 39 thread
here
. This is identical to the scene in episode 28 @ 15:58 when Shouma the stupidest protagonist/KR Gavv produced the Frappeise RG. Both the Frappeise RG and Puddinte RG are produced in their debut appearance during the fight scene, not right after Shouma the stupidest protagonist drank/eat the snacks they're based on.
Soooooooooooooooooo, Shouma the stupidest protagonist is indeed able to produce tubular-shaped RG's/Vrastum Gear RG's as well. Aren't the tubular-shaped RG's/Vrastum Gear RG's supposed to be artificial RG's created by Nyelv's proprietary technology, not produced by a human-Granute hybrid like Shouma the stupidest protagonist?
Don't know! The writers very likely wrote themselves into the corner and were unable to insert the creation of the Frappeise RG and Puddinte RG as artificial RG's into the super duper hyper mega ultra convoluted plot, so they were probably like, "Ah, screw that! Just make Shouma the stupidest protagonist produce it!", haha.
This is what happens when your story is super duper hyper mega ultra convoluted plot. It almost always ends up hurting you, not helping you. Well, thanks for the impressively atrocious story, Gavv's producers and writers! *facepalm
In the scene @ 17:15, Lage 9/KR Vram uses the Puddinte RG to access the A la Mode Mode, and as expected, he's now able to withstand Glotta's attacks. Though visually and choreographically impressive, this fight scene is as formulaic and predictable as the other countless the-protagonist-finally-gets-the-required-power-up-trinket-and-is-now-able-to-turn-the-table-and-defeat-his-archnemesis-villain-general scenes in this franchise. The problem is not with the action scene itself, but the atrocious writing in this episode. Still, credits to the action director and suit actors. In short, Glotta gets her's ass handed to her, haha.
In the scene @ 21:49, it's shown that Glotta is feebly walking away after her unceremonious defeat at the hands of Lage 9/KR Vram A la Mode Mode. As usual in this atrocious story, in a very very
very
convenient coincidence, Lango Mango arrives out of nowhere to comfort her druing her dying moment, and vows to rebuild and save the Stomach family. Does it mean that he's planning to oppose Bocca/Liselle and take back Stomach corporation from them? Or is he planning to build his own company, perhaps named Lango Mango corporation? Haha.
So yeah, like I hypothesized in my post in episode 33 thread
here
, just like Magen (33-34), Lango Mango (35-36), and Jeebh (37-38), Glotta is eliminated in episodes 39-40 via the same 2-episode formula.
Hanto/KR Valen? Well, he's just a foot note in this episode, haha.
Oh, and what about Jeebh? Yep, he's 10000000000000% missing
again
in this episode, which means he's vanished completely in 13(!) episodes. An impressive new record for him, haha.
In my 2nd post in episode 39 thread
here
, I expressed my interest in seeing at least a bit of character development for him in the remaining episodes, yet, because the writers wrote themselves into the corner so badly, they failed to find a way to insert him in this episode, at all. You can't have nice things when the writers are total hacks. It turns out my optimism was sooooooooooooooooooooo naively misplaced, haha.
Next week:
Nyelv is introducing a mysterious man in black robe as KR Bitter Gavv v4.0. Could he be Bocca? Could he be Lango Mango? I don't think so. Perhaps he's the reanimated corpse of Kenzou, like I hypothesized in my posts in episode 22 thread
here
and in episode 23 thread
here
where I mentioned that the cells from Kenzou's dead body would be claimed by Nyelv to be repurposed/recombined with other experimental cells in an experiment to create an unknown product, likely Nyelv's own ultimate Driver.
Nyelv says in the preview section @ 23:15 that he's asking the man in the black robe to be his guinea pig, so he could likely be a brand new character, not Bocca, Lango Mango, nor the reanimated corpse of Kenzou. Right after that scene, Bocca is shown unveiling an unknown (deceased?) body, which could likely be the man in the black robe, though it's still possible that he might not even be a Granute, but a human injected with Granute cells/DNA by Nyelv. In the same preview section @ 23:15, Nyelv is seen showing the man in the black robe's monstrous left hand, so him being not a Granute, but a human modified with Granute cells could be true. Perhaps Nyelv is trying to see the effect of injecting Granutes' DNA into a human's body, not just transplanting a Granute's organ into a human's body (like what happened to Hanto). And based on the preview section @ 23:17, the man in the black robe/KR Bitter Gavv v4.0 likely possessed the ability to hypnotize a human Rider (which is Hanto/KR Valen) and mind-control him into fighting KR Gavv & KR Vram. This means that episode 41-42 could be Nyelv's focus episodes. I'd like to see what's Nyelv endgame all along. I don't think he'd like to lose to Kenzou who managed to create the Bake Magnum, so he needed to create his own Driver/transformation device if he wanted to one-up Kenzou. Perhaps Nyelv is planning to upgrade the Bake Magnum and use it to transform into KR Bake v2.0?
Don't know!
Soooooooooooooooooooo, what's the point of assigning a new villain as KR Bitter Gavv v4.0?
Like I mentioned above, Jeebh/KR Bitter Gavv v3.0 is completely missing in episode 40, so what's the point of turning another villain into yet another KR Bitter Gavv?
The writers wrote themselves into the corner so badly and couldn't even fit Jeebh into the story, yet they were
still
trying to make the story even more convoluted by inserting a new villain. Heck, Jeebh could even be sidelined again in episodes 41-42. Very very
very
weird decision by the writers, as usual.
The owner guy of the same candy/snack shop shown in episodes 30, 31, 34, 37, & 39 is seemingly pleading to Hanto, who is shown holding the list of the missing people. He's showing Hanto a photo of a young woman, which could be the young Michiru (Shouma the stupidest protagonist's mom). Yea, it seems like the owner guy does have a familial relationship with Shouma the stupidest protagonist, like I hypothesized in my 1st post in episode 39 thread
here
. Perhaps
he
's the mysterious man in black robe that Nyelv's using as his newest test subject?
That's quite outlandish, although the preview scenes do imply that episodes 41-42 are gonna be the development of Hanto's convoluted detective plot of his attempts of finding the remaining family members of Michiru Inoue (Shouma the stupidest protagonist's mom).
Oh, and Shouma the stupidest protagonist asked Hanto in episode 29 @ 03:44 to find the remaining family members of his mom, so why the heck hasn't he tried to make Hanto's job easier by showing him the the family tree of his mom?
The family tree might include the names of her siblings, parents, grandparents, uncles, cousins, etc, so it would greatly help Hanto and make his job 10000000000000000000% easier. Of course, Shouma the stupidest protagonist, your mom told you multiple times about her family tree, at least her immediate family's, right? Right?
Right
? Heck, like I elaborated in my post in episode 33 thread
here
, if Shouma the stupidest protagonist truly wanted to find the remaining family members of his mom, then he should've told Hanto all the crucial details about his mom, be it legal name (including the kanji spelling of it, if any, not just kanji + hiragana), date of birth, last known address, last known profession, marital status, last known family members (parents, next of kin, etc.), and so on. Of course, Shouma the stupidest protagonist, your mom told you multiple times about those details, right? Right?
Right
? Hanto could've then only needed to visit the local police precinct to confirm the accuracy of those data about a missing woman named Michiru Inoue. The police have a database of solved and unsolved cases of missing people, and a simple Ctrl + F would've already shown the various details about a victim named Michiru Inoue who went missing in early 2000's. I bet all my net worth that there would've not been many woman from Tokyo specifically named Michiru Inoue about the age of 20-30 (at that time) who went missing in the early 2000's. The fact that Shouma the stupidest protagonist only gave the name 井上みちる/Inoue Michiru to Hanto in episode 29 @ 03:44 is the definite proof that Shouma the stupidest protagonist either:
- Has
zero
intention of making Hanto's job easier (read: a plot convenience to make the convoluted story even more convoluted and unnecessary longer than needed),
- And or is just stupid beyond belief that he deserves the name Shouma the stupidest protagonist.
The whole problem (and the plot!) would've been solved by a simple Ctrl + F in the police database to confirm the various details of a Michiru Inoue. Gosh, this story is just soooooooooooooooooooooo unnecessary convoluted to the point it completely disregards many obvious, simple, easy, perfectly executable solutions. Soooooooooooooooooooooo stupid! *facepalm
