I just finished my sparkling Kiramager rewatch, which I'll talk about later this week. For now though, I want to talk about this 4-part TTFC spin-off series I watched for the first time: Yodonna.

Written by Kiramager's Inoue Tete, the most underrated Inoue in Tokusatsu, this series is 120+ minutes of Yodonna content, which is weird enough that the name Inoue Tete becomes much more memorable after watching it. Despite being a sequel to Kiramager, it's definitely not Sentai, as only Juru, Tame and Shiguru appear unmorphed in minor roles. Instead, this series brings a setting appropriate for Yodonna, which I personally think was a good choice. Even Kiramager's most superfluous and annoying character, Kakihara, actually fits better here and slowly convinces me to care about her problem. For fans of both Sentai and Rider, there are many delightful cameos. It completely puts Outsiders and Girls Remix to shame, with an emotional and exciting story about Yodonna's redemption and revival, which is treated both seriously and comedically. Overall, I think it's the kind of series you can enjoy even if you haven't watched Kiramager, or hell, even if you don't like Kiramager. I would recommend it for sure!
