For that matter, there is no evidence that AI was used in the first preview. There are unconfirmed feelings and assumptions that smack of a witch hunt. And judging by this comment, some people did not even realize that the AI is suspected for background, not the rider:

Which in turn proves that assessing AI based on one's own impressions is unreliable nonsense. I already wrote that fines for plagiarism would very quickly teach AI and those using/creating them to sort their products. But now it seems to me that a false accusation of using AI should also be fined. Because this is slander and damage to business reputation.

The person responsible for the backgrounds in the trailer took them from the public domain and among them there could be AI creations. Or there could be none. I saw photo wallpapers with strange unrealistic landscapes back in the nineties. In any case, until there is more compelling evidence than "it seems to me" it is fairer to assume that AI was not used.
Sorry, it's a sore subject. In fact, the topic was cleared of this crap quite quickly. In other places, it would have been chewed over for at least a week.
