In the scene @ 00:23, when Shouma is looking at the photo of a young Michiru (his mom) that Hanto took in episode 41 @ 12:57, in a very very
very
convenient coincidence, Masaru/candy store owner guy/Mr. Hidamari calls Hanto's smartphone. Masaru says that he wants to meet up with Hanto to talk about Michiru, his younger sister who went missing about 20 years ago. Just when Hanto can't decide on how much should he answer if Masaru starts asking questions, Shouma also asks to join in the meetup to hear more about Masaru's side of the story.
In the scene @ 01:59, Nyelv is reporting to Bocca that the preliminary experiments for Bocca's mass human manipulation grand plan have been successful. He says that the next presidential election is coming soon, so Bocca is preparing to inspect the human world and is planning to suck it dry until the last drips.
I think perhaps Bocca's endgame (about transforming the entire human world into a planet-scale Hito Press farm) is part of his ultimate political scheme of manipulating virtually all of Granute's population by using Dark Snacks. Buuuuuttttt, at the beginning of episode 41, it was shown that he already had the dead body of his assassinated political rival whom he said to possess hypnosis power. If Nyelv was able to combine the poor Granute politician's body with Kenzou's body, then he should've been able to combine it with
another Granute
's body, and then used it to hypnotize the entire Granute population. Which means: Bocca already had all the ingredients to create his ultimate tool of mass hypnosis that he'd ultimately use as his political weapon, without even involving Stomach corporation (except Nyelv) Dark Snacks, kidnapping humans, and all that crap. Bocca's convoluted endgame (about transforming the entire human world into a planet-scale Hito Press farm) is just the same exact plan with 10 extra steps, which of course,
will
end in Bocca's (and Liselle's) death, haha.
What he should do is:
- Keep the dead body of his assassinated political rival who he said to possess hypnosis power.
- Combine it with
another Granute
's body.
- Use it to manipulate the entire Granute population.
- Win the election and be the dictator president for the next 100 years.
Instead, what he's
actually
been doing is:
- Keep the dead body of his assassinated political rival who he said to possess hypnosis power.
- Combine it with a human's body.
- Use it to manipulate the entire human population.
- Use the entire human population as ingredients of Dark Snacks.
- Feed the Dark Snacks to the entire Granute population and manipulate them.
- Win the election and be the dictator president for the next 100 years.
- Of course, his convoluted plan
will
be screwed up at the last minutes by the protagonists, and it
will
end in Bocca's (and Liselle's) death.
Instead of winning the election by using a simple, straightforward plan, he's decided to use an uber-convoluted plan that
will
result in his own death. If this is what'll actually happen in the story, then I can only say:
What a dumb politician Bocca is!
In the scene @ 04:19, Hanto is meeting up with Masaru with the pretense of renting Sachika's shop as a conference room, obviously to make it easy for Shouma to listen to their conversation. Masaru immediately loses his calm demeanor when he shows to Hanto an article that says Granutes have been kidnapping humans for 20 years, in coincidence with Michiru's disappearance. He says that he's been considering worst-case scenarios for Michiru's disappearance, but he never even considered that she had been kidnapped and eaten by monsters. Naturally, he loses his cool even more. Although Hanto does admit that he's been investigating the Granute cases, he's in a difficult position and is unable to tell more details to Masaru, who says that it's impossible for Hanto to understand his situation, not knowing that Hanto's situation (about his mom's kidnapping) is actually almost as identical as his.
In the scene @ 07:45, Bocca (in his human disguise) is going on an inspection tour in the human world with Liselle and is taking a look around several locations, and his dubbed voice sounds weird, haha.
He's actually impressed that humans have been able to build a great civilization. He notices that there are many buildings made of mineral/rocks and metal, and he thinks it'd be a waste if they're used as humans' nests. He says that he's planning to make the most out of it, so it seems like he thinks that buildings in the human world should be used for another purpose.
In the scene @ 08:34, Jeebh is training as KR Bitter Gavv v3.0 under Nyelv's supervision. I thought in my post in episode 42 last week
here
that the opponent is Lango Mango, but they're actually just virtual simulations of his agents. While Nyelv says that Jeebh is getting stronger due to him having been used to the Henshin Belt Bitter Gavv/kuro Gabu, there's something weird in Nyelv's smile that kinda says that he doesn't say what he means.
In the scene @ 10:15, Shouma regrets that he wasn't able to tell Masaru anything about himself or his mom during the previous meetup. He says he's never seen Masaru/candy store owner guy/Mr. Hidamari break his calm demeanor. Hanto compares Shouma's and Masaru's situation to his, and says that he's glad that he's found the truth about his mom, and thinks that Shouma also needs to consider that possibility. I think perhaps in the next 2 or 3 episodes, Shouma himself would have the guts to finally decide to tell Masaru about the truth about their familial connection, and more importantly, the truth about Michiru's fate. It's great that Shouma has finally found the resolve and manned up, but this is already episode 43! The last 20 % of the story (about 8-10 episodes) should be reserved for the elaboration of the endgame arc of the story, not the resolution of the protagonist's inner fear. Even Houtarou Ichinose/KR Gotchard had already stopped being a chicken by episode 24 (the debut episode of KR Iron Gotchard). The the-hidden-familial-connection-between-Shouma-and-Masaru subplot has been dragged for waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too long.
In the scene @ 11:51, Lage 9 is casually taking a stroll in the city, and, as usual in this atrocious story, in a very very
very
convenient coincidence, Bocca and Liselle are visiting the exact same location at the same time. Bocca says the he has the idea of using the buildings in the human world should be used for food for lower class Granutes, and proceeds to casually destroy a building just to obtain a small sample of it. Lage 9 (who has been conveniently located there by the writers), of course, is pissed off. Just when he's about to transform, in the laziest, cheapest, most atrocious way, the writers pulled a Yuuya by making his Vrastum Gear get snatched by one of Bocca's agents @ 13:00. I and my gf laughed soooooooooooooooooooooooo hard at how dumb that scene is. How the heck is Lage 9 totally unable to sense the presence of one of Bocca agents right beside him?
Do Bocca's agents now have super-speed abilty?
Don't know! It's just the easiest, laziest, cheapest, most atrocious way that the writers use to make Lage 9 unable to transform into KR Vram. Of course, it results in Lage 9 being beaten to a pulp by Bocca's agents. What's even dumber is the fact that Bocca's agents don't even confiscate Lage 9's Vrastum Gear!
Soooooooooooooooooooooooo dumb! *facepalm
Gavv 43 @ 13:00
In the scene @ 14:06, Shouma is visiting Masaru's candy/snack store to buy some new stuffs. Masaru offers him a sample of the new melon jelly. He says Shouma's way of enjoying snacks reminds him of Michiru. He also says that his store is actually his childhood home that he intended to leave for Michiru. He's still desperate to know about Michiru' whereabouts that he believes that Michiru will come home alive and will be happy when she sees his store. Perhaps Shouma would inherit the store later from Masaru in the epilogue of the story. Oh, and why does Shouma produce the Prujelly RG more than 1 minute after he swallow the melon jelly, not immediately after it?
A blatant violation of the story's own internal rules/logic, as usual.
In the scene @ 17:52, Hanto and Shouma encounter Bocca and Liselle. Bocca formally introduces himself to the protagonists as the president of the Granute world, and declares his intention of owning the entire human world. The Prujelly RG is actually just used for attacks (for rendering KR Gavv Caking form's Whip Soldiers invisible), not for a new form for KR Vram. Well, at least it's not used by Sachika the heroine-with-virtually-no-backstory-except-2-mundane-facts-that-she-has-a-filthy-rich-grandma-and-that-she-lives-in-the-same-apartment-complex-as-Ritsu to transform into a Rider, haha.
Although Shouma/KR Gavv and Hanto/KR Valen manage to defeat Bocca's agents, they're no match for Bocca who can knock them out of their transformations with a simple energy blast without even breaking a sweat. Oh, and if one of Bocca's agents managed to snatch Lage 9's Vrastum Gear from his hand earlier @ 13:00 by using their new super-speed technique (haha
), then why the heck don't they do the exact same thing to Shouma/KR Gavv and Hanto/KR Valen?
Why don't they confiscate Hanto's Valen Buster and snatch Shouma's Caking RG and then beat them to a pulp, or better: Kill them right away?
Shouma and Hanto are completely nothing without their Rider powers, so why doesn't Bocca should just eliminate them right then and there and save himself the hassle of dealing with them in the remaining 7 episodes?
The answer is clear: Plot-induced stupidity, as usual in this atrocious story. *facepalm
In the scene @ 21:49, Shouma says that he's decided not to tell Masaru/candy store owner guy/Mr. Hidamari anything for the time being. Perhaps he'd tell him when the moment is convenient for the plot, probably nearing/during Bocca's full-scale invasion into the human world.
In the scene @ 22:40, Nyelv is looking at the data on his tablet, and while he concludes that the data from Jeebh's training as KR Bitter Gavv v3.0 under his supervision earlier is not bad, it's still inferior to the data from Shouma/aka Gabu. So this is what he actually meant behind his weird smile earlier. And, based on the data, he's planning to join forces with Shouma/aka Gabu? After all his betrayals so far, how the heck is he gonna gain Shouma's trust?
He could be planning to let Shouma and the protagonists be defeated to the point of total desperation by Bocca first, and then he'd offer to help Shouma/KR Gavv defeat Bocca, likely in the form of an experimental, dangerous RG that could likely cause Shouma/KR Gavv to go berserk (and likely also allow him to access a berserker form). But then, where does Lango Mango fit in?
Bocca and Lango Mango are the only villains who are featured in the latest poster, so Nyelv couldn't be the final boss. Or perhaps, Lango Mango is the final boss after he defeated Nyelv?
The sequence of events could go like this:
-> Liselle (aka Bocca's emotional vulnerability) gets killed by the Riders.
-> Bocca enters wrath mode.
-> Bocca invades the human world and defeats the protagonists to the point of total desperation, especially Shouma/KR Gavv.
-> Nyelv offers to help Shouma/KR Gavv defeat Bocca in the form of a new, dangerous berserker RG.
-> Shouma/KR Gavv manages to defeat Bocca.
-> Bocca's position is usurped by Nyelv.
-> Lango Mango is trying to take back Stomach corporation from Nyelv.
-> Lango Mango manages to defeat Nyelv and emerge as the final villain.
-> Shouma/KR Gavv, who is able to neutralize the berserker RG's power after he tells Masaru the truth about their connection, manages to defeat the new, improved version of Lango Mango.
-> End.
Ouch, dang it. I completely forgot about Jeebh! Where the heck does he fit in all this mess?
Could it be that he's the one who would kill Liselle, not the protagonists?
Don't know! This is what happens when I have waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too many villains who barely do anything for waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too long. They're basically just narrative noises that pollute my story and turn it into a giant pile of mess. *facepalm
Oh, and Lango Mango is totally absent in this episode after his official return to the story in episode 42 last week. The writers not only wrote themselves into the corner because they were struggling to resolve Jeebh's plot, but now also because they had a hard time fitting Lango Mango into the story after his return. Well, that's what you get for making an uber-convoluted story. Congratulations, Gavv's writers and producers! You played yourselves. *facepalm *slow clap
Next week:
Hajime the kid of the week in episodes 1-2 returns.
What's Lage 9 doing at an amusement park?
The cameo (or full episode appearance?) of Caries/KR Caries from Gavv's summer film. This episode is written by Saburo Yatsude, so this could be a full episode appearance.
Who is the new part-timer guy in the preview section @ 23:17? Is he Caries' lackey (forgot his name)? Or is he the adult version of Hajime the kid of the week? Or is he the untransformed KR Zeztz?
Gulp!
Mmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyybbbbbbbbbbeeeeeeeeee...
YIKES A WALL OF TEXT I WILL NEVER READ... dude/dudette this is crazy
