I didn't care for the fact that Jor-El and his wife are coded as virtual assholes and sexists and omnicidal shitheads, but I suppose that it was necessary for the sake of the story and character development.

Mr. Terrific stole the show in the scenes he was in! I've never been a humongous fan of the character until I saw that portrayal.

I honestly got a little emotional when Pa Kent gave our main man an obvious albeit different perspective to his moral predicament.
