In the scene @ 00:23, while Shouma is asking what's Lango Mango is trying to do, Hanto is asking
him
what he was trying to do by working with Nyelv. Hanto thinks Shouma was being manipulated by Nyelv, but Shouma says that he joined forces with Nyelv out of his own volition in order to save the human world. As expected, Hanto's still baffled why the heck Shouma believed in Nyelv's story in the first place. Hanto, whose mentor (Mr. Shioya) is among one of the several victims of Nyelv's and Kenzou's cahoots, naturally refuses to believe anything that Nyelv says or will ever say.
Meanwhile, Sachika the heroine-with-virtually-no-backstory-except-2-mundane-facts-that-she-has-a-filthy-rich-grandma-and-that-she-lives-in-the-same-apartment-complex-as-Ritsu is visibly shocked when she hears for the first time what has happened to Mr. Shioya at the end of episode 5 and at the beginning of episode 6. This is why she's such a very very
very
poorly written heroine. She's just too much of a busybody. She's too busy lecturing other people and spouting her hApPiNeSs hApPiNeSs hApPiNeSs nonsense that she couldn't see that other bad things happened to the other protagonists besides Shouma. She couldn't even comprehend the context of other people's problems and why they did what they did. The most obvious evidence of her lack of empathy was shown in episode 45 @ 08:15 when she made Lage 9 felt bad for Hito Pressing humans. She said that she regretted that she had once wished hApPiNeSs on him. I was like, "What, Sachika?"
Lage 9 did his job of Hito Pressing humans because he had to in order to infiltrate Stomach corporation and gain their trust, and to finally be able to uncover who the culprit that killed Komel about a year ago was. What choice did he have other than doing his part-timer job as Stomach corporation/Lango Mango said? He had no other choice! He didn't do it out of his own volition at all. He was at most apathetic to humans, so he didn't think about harming humans either. Instead of wishing hApPiNeSs on him, she should've tried comprehending the whole context of his situation and the moral dilemma he faced. Her busybodiness basically equals Ikki Igarashi/KR Revi's, but at the very least he still had the self-awareness to realize that he was a busybody. When she said in episode 45 @ 11:42 that she just realized that she was always so shallow, for the first time I actually
agreed
with her. She showed how shallow she was when she was just aware of it in episode 45, 5 episodes before this atrocious story ends! Where have you been in the previous 44 episodes, Sachika?
If my heroine is just aware of her shortcomings 5 episodes before my 50-episode story ends, then I know that I must've royally screwed up. I find it very very
very
ironic that the main writer (Junko Komura) is a woman, but the heroine (Sachika) is very very
very
poorly written, definitely the most poorly written one in this franchise so far.
In the scene @ 02:23, Nyelv is captured by 2 Butlers while having a bruised face, implying that he's been beaten up by them. Liselle is of course mocking him, while Jeebh is only looking at him in contempt. He asks Bocca to execute him right away, but Bocca refuses because he still needs him to finish his job and successfully execute his endgame, so Bocca decides to unshackle him. Why does Bocca decide to do this? Why can't Nyelv finish his job while still being shackled and monitored? Nyelv is an R&D engineer, not a field operative, so he can still work while being restrained and monitored by Bocca's Butlers/goons. It'd be hilarious if later Nyelv manages to set himself free and then help Shouma/KR Gavv kick Bocca's ass. That'd be the ultimate evidence of how myopic Bocca the dumbest politician's thinking is.
In the scene @ 04:58, Shouma returns to the location where Sachika found the door (where one of Nyelv's agents was transporting several part-timers back into the Granute world) in a very very
very
convenient coincidence in episode 46 @ 07:57. He's wondering what happened to Nyelv after his plan to topple Bocca in episode 46 last week failed miserably.
In the scene @ 05:55, Jeebh is asking Nyelv how the heck he dared to try to stab Bocca in the back. He just realizes that Shouma/Aka Gabu, not him, was Nyelv's trump card all along. Jeebh is seemingly sad of the incoming fate that's awaiting Nyelv, so perhaps it could inspire him to rebel against Bocca in the very last minute, which likely would end up killing Liselle instead, like I hypothesized in my post in episode 34 thread
here
.
In the scene @ 06:47, Jeebh says that the reason Nyelv implanted him with the Henshin Belt Bitter Gavv was to compare his performance with Shouma/Aka Gabu's. Now that it was concluded by Nyelv that his performance was inferior to Shouma/Aka Gabu's, he feels betrayed and feels dumb for falling for Nyelv's promises. He regretted the choice he made because he's still unable to avenge Shita's death. Perhaps this is he was
actually
sad for in the previous scene, not Nyelv's incoming execution? Haha.
Of course, Liselle the spoiled rich kid is always fanning the flame and says that Jeebh still has the potential to become stronger. Strangely, Jeebh's only reply is, "Thanks. I already knew that you'd say that, Liselle.", and baffles Liselle who says that she's never seen like that before. Perhaps this is the moment that Jeebh is starting to see the pattern of Liselle's manipulative behavior.
In the scene @ 09:52, Shouma and Sachika are visiting Masaru/candy store owner guy/Mr. Hidamari's candy store. When Masaru asks Sachika if Shouma has been her long-time employee, she says that she didn't have any employee for a long time. She basically says that the part-timers' churn rate at her shop was very high, so she's grateful when Shouma began working there. Whaaattt, Sachika?
How low you pay your part-timers that no one sticks with you?
How bad are you at running your shop that only Shouma, practically a vagrant/homeless, is willing to work for you?
Oh, and where the heck is Ritsu?
Wasn't she supposed to work at your shop as well, Sachika, as shown in episode 3 @ 09:48-10:58?
And more importantly, wasn't she supposed to be your best friend, Sachika?
How come that Sachika, who is supposed to be a positive, cheerful, bubbly, jolly, super-extroverted girl who often spouts hApPiNeSs hApPiNeSs hApPiNeSs, has no employee working for her, and more crucially, has no best friend, at least 1 person?
Things just don't really really
reeeeeally
add up here. Dang, this scene is starting to convince me that people actually
don't
like Sachika! *cringe facepalm
Gavv 03 @ 09:53
In the scene @ 08:37, Hanto is looking at Mr. Shioya's broken Hito Press, and is advised by Lage 9 who thinks that Hanto gets angry so easily. He says that they need to calm down and reconsider Shouma's plan of joining forces with Nyelv.
In the scene @ 09:59, Nyelv is showing Bocca the prototypes of 2 new types of weird RG's called Dummy RG's, where the pink one is called Dummy PLE and the blue one is called Dummy OPE. The Dummy PLE RG is used for injecting humans with euphoria (aka hApPiNeSs) and the Dummy OPE RG is used to control them. So this is how Bocca is going to control humans. Q: "How to forcefully make humans hApPy and then control them?" A: "Just create an RG that can make them hApPy and then mind-control them with another RG." Soooooooooo awfully lazy and plot-convenient, exactly like Lage 9's very very
very
plot-convenient hApPiNeSs neurotoxin power! Bocca then asks Liselle and Jeebh to unleash many copies of those RG's in the human world, thus commencing Bocca's endgame: The human world farming plan. Those 2 RG's work by releasing Stomach's gaseous copy of Lage 9's awfully plot-convenient hApPiNeSs neurotoxin and then mind-control many humans at once. Yep, soooooooooo awfully lazy and convenient for the plot!
In the scene @ 11:35, Sachika and Masaru/candy store owner guy/Mr. Hidamari who were also exposed to the hApPiNeSs gas released by the 2 weird RG's are starting to act strangely, blissfully hApPy. Lage 9 informs Shouma that the same thing is happening to many people in other places as well, and has also captured 2 of those RG's. He concludes that Bocca/Stomach must've developed a new type of neurotoxin that only works on humans based on his own very very
very
plot-convenient hApPiNeSs neurotoxin. Hanto, who is about to affected by the gas in the scene @ 13:01 as well, concludes that Nyelv has got something to do with this.
In the scene @ 13:39, Liselle is using a copy of Kenzoumbie/KR Bitter Gavv v4.0's Bake Magnum to give command (that's transmitted via the Dummy OPE RG's) to the affected humans to come to a collection center where they're Hito Pressed by 2 part-timers. So convenient!
In the scene @ 15:10, Lango Mango captures the 2 weird RG's and concludes that it must be Bocca's typical strategy, though he thinks that it's a good opportunity for him too. He's likely planning to strike Bocca at the very last minute, so his plan must be very very
very
good, unlike Nyelv's plan. He's basically been in hiding since official return to the story in episode 42, so if his plan to strike Bocca is still stupid as his previous plans, then this atrocious story is 1000000000000000000000% toast.
In the scene @ 16:02, Shouma arrives at the collection/Hito Pressing center where he's welcomed by Liselle who orders Nyelv to get rid of him. In the flashback scene, Bocca is shown to have planned to execute Nyelv right after his endgame is completed, but Nyelv pleaded for his life for one last time. He pleaded to Bocca that he would defeat Shouma/Aka Gabu right in front of him and pledge his allegiance to Bocca. He says to Shouma that he's also afraid of his own life being ended by Bocca's hands (or order, to be exact, haha
). Yep, like I hypothesized in my post in episode 46 last week
here
, this is the moment that he's
finally
realized that he's just Bocca's pawn all along. Out of nowhere, Hanto/KR Valen attacks Nyelv who is about to attack Shouma/Aka Gabu. Nyelv blames Shouma/Aka Gabu for the failure of his plan to topple Bocca in episode 46 last week and has no choice but to defeat him now. Yea, Nyelv just doesn't and won't change. Anyway, Shouma/KR Gavv and Hanto/KR Valen proceeds to fight Nyelv. The best thing in this fight scene is the fact that KR Gavv Caking form still makes an appearance, which means that it truly is the king of all the Rider forms in this series, haha.
Heck, I even forgot that KR Gavv Blizzardsorbet form exists, haha.
In the scene @ 18:13, meanwhile, Jeebh is strolling at a deserted neighborhood where the people there have been ordered to go to the collection/Hito Pressing center by Liselle. As usual in this atrocious story, in a very very
very
convenient coincidence, he encounters Lage 9 who is forced to Hito Press Sachika and Masaru to stop them from going to the collection/Hito Pressing center, and of course, he mocks Lage 9 for doing the same thing. Jeebh thinks that humans belong to Bocca/Stomach and asks Lage 9 to give him Sachika's and Masaru's Hito Presses. Of course, Lage 9 refuses, and then they fight, haha.
Maaaaannnnn, this fight scene between Lage 9/KR Vram vs Jeebh/KR Bitter Gavv v3.0 is just painful to look at. They were the characters that I was really stoked about, yet they ended up being written sooooooooooooooooooooooo badly. I excitedly thought that Lage 9 was the Donnie Brasco of this story, and was disappointed and proven completely wrong when it was revealed that he was just an ordinary civilian Granute who had a very very
very
plot-convenient hApPiNeSs neurotoxin power. I was even more disappointed when it was revealed in episode 39 that indeed it was just Glotta who killed Komel. What a convenient, yet dumb plot line. Jeebh? Yeah, I'm equally disappointed with how he's turned out to be. He's become a character that has overstayed his welcome for way way
waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy
too long. It means that Shita's death (which I think is ironically was the only one with somewhat satisfying ending among the other Stomach villains) in episode 14 at the hands of Shouma/KR Gavv Caking form was virtually in vain. You can't have nice things when the writers are 1000000000000000000000000% total hacks, haha.
In the scene @ 20:34, Bocca arrives at the collection/Hito Pressing center in the human world wo monitor the progress of his endgame. Nyelv proudly tells Bocca to see with his own eyes when the hordes of weird Dummy RG's that he made for him and scattered through the human world... Explode at the press of a button in his hand. He proudly tells Bocca to watch his ambitions be crushed, and proceeds to press the red button on the remote controller in his left hand... Aaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnndddddddddd, instead of the Dummy RG's, it's
him
who is exploding @ 21:50-21:58.
Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
I and my gf couldn't stop laughing at the sheer, utter stupidity, idiocy, braindeadness of this atrocious, Yuuya Takahashi-level plot twist (read: asspull) scene. Later @ 22:05 when Bocca's asked by Liselle what the heck's happening, he says that he ordered his goons to set Nyelv up. Buuuuuttttt, even if Bocca ordered all his Butlers/goons to carefully check each Dummy RG's for explosives and or other suspicious materials and clear every single Dummy RG unit before being deployed by Liselle and Jeebh @ 10:26, the remote controller was still ultimately within Nyelv's possession all the frakkin' time, so it should be 100000000000000000000000000000000% impossible for the remote control to explode! It's the remote control that's very very
very
crucial for Nyelv's ultimate, last minute betrayal plan, so it should've been with him 100000000000000000000000000000000% all the frakkin' time, which means that it was 100000000000000000000000000000000% impossible to be tampered with by Bocca's Butlers/goons! The writers got sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lazy and couldn't find a way to eliminate Nyelv from the story. They couldn't make Shouma, Hanto, Lage 9, Bocca, Liselle, Jeebh, or even Lango Mango get rid of Nyelv, so they resorted to their usual tactic: 100000000000000000000000000000000% lazy writing. Gosh, this atrocious scene is the peak of the peak of the peak of stupidity, idiocy, braindeadness of this story so far. Congratulations, Gavv's writers and producers! You played yourselves and shot yourselves in the foot a gazillion times. Congratulations, Gavv's writers and producers, because you have successfully demonstrated how pathetically, laughably, embarrassingly, indefensibly lazy, sloppy, heavy-handed, and atrocious KR (God forbid) Gavv's story is. *facepalm *slow clap
Gavv 47 @ 21:54
Next week:
Shouma finally meets Lango Mango who says that his plan is to reclaim Stomach corporation from Bocca and rebuild the Stomach family.
Bocca shows his full Granute form when fighting Shouma/KR Gavv, Hanto/KR Valen, and Lango Mango.
Shouma is likely getting a new power-up, probably has something to do with Masaru/candy store owner guy/Mr. Hidamari. The KR Gavv Amazin Gummy form is likely just Poppin Gummy with modified paint/decoration, not an entirely new suit.
Mmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyybbbbbbbbbbeeeeeeeeee...
