Very foreboding and tense episode thanks to the Kaiju this time around for multiple reasons. Which while we didn't learn its name via Sorato, the sponsor segment at the end with the banners did give us a name, Eldeghimera.

Might be one of the vilest Kaiju in a while purely because it looked to be purposely enjoying itself what with those mannerisms. Not to mention the fact that its mere presence seems to affect Kaiju in different ways (and not even just regular Kaiju either).

Leodo was cited by Sorato as being more violent than usual, Graim suddenly broke from being dormant to surface and was likely being chased by Eldeghimera. And then there's Kosei, who seems weirdly out of character and I don't know if it's just me and who knows if they'll confirm or deny this next episode, but I think it's because of Eldeghimera too. Cause we know he's linked and bonded to the Meteokaiju, so who's to say that they aren't affected as well?

Then there's the flashback we saw, which was likely Sorato's life flashing before his eyes and him recalling a prior memory. Whatever it was looked like it was holding a heavy weapon to parry his beam but also... that purple beam and that noise it made. I got curious and decided to check back.

That's the mystery Entity that blindsided Omega during the premiere. And it looked like Omega had a bit more of a fight with it than we saw since this was slightly different but also, had a similar obscured shape and noise when it fired a beam.
