Yes, I think it's quite obvious that the first step in preventing a terrible future is to save the lives of Baku's three senpais. And given that NOX is in a more vulnerable position, being neither a rider nor a knight, protecting him is perfectly logical. Incidentally, I wonder if this will influence NOX's shift in position and its transformation into an ally of Baku. That is, for the current/real NOX, Baku turned against CODE as soon as it learned of the organization's corruption, so they have the same goal, but different methods.
