I flat-out adore how absolutely panicked Sieg is at Ordrem separating Minami and the Nightmare, like his entire world is falling apart.

And I honestly think it is. It makes me really lock in on the idea that he embraced the nightmares not because he actually believes what he is spouting, but because he couldn't cope with the actual reality.

That till now, he's been hiding away in the darkness because he could never escape it in his own mind, and Baku now doing so has shaken him to his core.

I expect Sieg to absolutely spiral, desperately clinging on to the idea that he just hasn't found Baku's breaking point yet, and not that he could have escaped his fate long ago, but just gave up.
