Interesting points, I agree with some of them!

Wes was strong alright, and definitely one of my favorite, if not my favorite Red Rangers on the American side. His character development was very believable.

Jen definitely defrosted her ice-queen impression. She became very likable towards the end of the season.

His and Wes's eventual bond that forms in the finale was very well done.
I loved how Eric and Wes played off each other, there was great chemistry between both of them. I enjoyed the resolution to their story.

No doubt Ransik was scary. Even in his first appearance he was terrifying and ruthless.

Alex was definitely bipolar. Maybe he really is bipolar in a true disordered sort of way?

Admittedly Ransik's defection did feel a bit disproportionate to all he had done throughout the season. I will disagree with you though, in saying that he did not care for Nadira. He loved her to bits and was willing to spoil her and listen to her incessant whines. For example, when Nadira got it into her head that Lucas fancied her, or when she wanted to be a movie star. Maybe it's me, but I felt that Ransik definitely loved Nadira, and he paid a lot of attention to her. If anything Nadira would be the only one capable of changing his mind.

I agree that this is a shame that it didn't happen. It would have run perfectly well with the "I make my own destiny" theme throughout the series.
