The prevailing memory I have about Lost Galaxy is Magna Defender. If I'm remembering right, he was the first character with a mature backstory. His son and wife dying, being hellbent on revenge. He was Gosei Knight before Gosei Knight was Gosei Knight. All badass and awesome. I even liked the character when Magna became Mike's brother. The suit, the Zord, the whole thing just works for me.

And he had a badass henshin. Throwing his sword skyward like a boss and catching like it a bigger boss after he changes.
