If the reason he didn't pull out the DragoTimer is because Shunpei broke it, I would be really... unimpressed. A magical item that can survive the heat of battle apparently can't survive a grown man's curiosity to fiddle with it. Although that quality should make it interesting for reviewers who cover the DX Drago Timer

Anyways, aside from the odd absence of the DragoTimer in the final fight of the episode, I loved everything. After seeing Kosuke get curious, I'm wondering if Beast will be the one to finish off Phoenix for good. After all, Phoenix may not be able to reincarnate himself if his mana gets absorbed before he has a chance. Whatever the case, I'm really liking how this show has picked up. Haruto is actually, you know, showing emotion, and the plot is going somewhere.
