I found Kiva to be a great story overall. Dark where it needed to be, light hearted where it needed to be. Once the Queen arc was introduced I'll admit that it meandered a bit, but once she died things took a much better turn. Kiva is still one of my top favorite rider shows. There are just so many redeeming characters in that show that I can forgive some of the slower sections.
