Take it from me as a MASSIVE Boukenger fan. VS Super Sentai was not a great movie. It was good but they really didn't knock it out of the park like they could have. The sempai heroes who came back were fun and all but in the end the characters didn't feel like they meshed. Eiji of course was awesome driving the plot with the address book but Aka Red was a dick for sitting out the better portion of the movie.

And that power up for Dai Voyager was such a missed opportunity. Big giant gloves and a chest plate? That's it Toei? You can give other sentai new movie exclusive machines or robos, even nice repaints but Boukenger got that? I mean Hurricanger VS Gaoranger saw them getting to combine with each others mecha! You telling me you can't make like one special GoGo Vehicle for the Boukenger movie?

Had the movie been Boukenger VS Magiranger featuring Super Sentai then I think it could have been great but they really did drop the ball on that one.
