This is quite a difficult choice. I had thought of Gokai Silver, but he's dependent on the Ranger keys and those were given back. In fact, he's so dependent on the Ranger keys that his mecha requires three different keys to work.

Then there's Magi Red, but I don't really like that my powers are tied to the Heavenly Saints. Magi Shine is cool, but he doesn't use a sword.

I thought of the Shinkengers but they have all that samurai code and honor thing. Except Shinken Gold, but...

I decided on Kyoryu Red. Guy travels, has boundless enthusiasm, pretty decent powers and an awesome pet. What's not to like?
