Okay the movie's been subbed for a little while now so I think it's a good time to open up discussion on this. While how successful it was at doing so is up in the air, the new Gavan movie (plus Type-G's appearance in Go-Busters and Super Hero Taisen Z) seems to suggest that Toei may be looking for Metal Heroes to make a proper comeback at some point. If they did, what would you like to see?
While a new B-Fighters series is a personal dream, I think to begin with it might just be better to stick to the Space Sheriffs for now. While Gavan Type-G got a decent introduction from the movie, Shaider and Sharivan were pretty much limited to cameo roles. So if we got a new series I'd like to see it focus on all three Sheriffs at the same time, with one-shot/multi-episode arcs featuring just one of them, which often intertwine and cross over into a larger plot. Cameo appearances from other Metal Heroes ala Gokaiger would be great too.
Finally, this seems a very unlikely want but I'd love to see it not have to revolve around a toyline. While the film wasn't overly serious I did feel it had a more Garo-like edge to it simply because it wasn't pushing anything. The designs aren't particularly modern, so I don't think the show needs to be aimed at young children.
Your thoughts?
