I would say the two must-see stories are Genesis of the Daleks and The Dalek Invasion of Earth. The Daleks is a great story too, but can get a little long-winded at times. Once you've seen Genesis, then I recommend Remembrance of the Daleks since Dalek civil wars are always fun to watch

Planet of the Daleks was my first Classic Dalek episode and I did enjoy it quite a bit. I did feel, however, that it was a bit muted compared to the epic Frontier in Space right before it, but it was pretty good.

I keep hearing good things about Genesis of the Daleks but I can't find it at the rental store! I guess if it really is the quintessential Dalek story I might just shell out money to import a DVD. I have also always been fascinated with the Dalek Invasion of Earth (another Classic I haven't watched) but I haven't really heard much about Remembrance yet. I'm going to have a look at it.
