Access 08: The Hitwoman in Black and the Unstoppable Blade

Late at night, Reggie was returning home on bicycle. As he turns the corner he was suddenly stopped by mysterious gunfire. Stopping himself, Reggie stares forward but sees only darkness illuminated by street lamps. “Who’s there?! Show yourself!” he demanded. An alluring seductive laugh echoed through the darkness, and a figure emerged from the shadows, with a pair of glowing yellows eyes staring at Reggie. The figure stepped into the light, revealing itself to be a woman clad in gothic styled battle armor with spikes everywhere. In her hand she carried a rifle; the gun resembled the Pulse rifle used by Viralindas, though appeared to match the mysterious woman’s preferences. The nozzle at the end was still smoking, filling the air.

The woman swings the massive long barreled gun over her shoulder, and places her free arm on her hip. “Say...I hear you’re pretty strong...are you?” While the woman’s question caught Reggie off guard, he responded: “Who me? I uh...well I suppose I am yeah!” The woman lets out a laugh and says “I’d like to see that strength first hand...fight me!” Lowering the gun once more, she aligned her scope’s sight, with Reggie in her sight. “Guess I got no choice...oh well! I was hoping for some action anyways.” Stepping off his bike, Reggie straps on his ModBelt, inserting the ModPass. Yelling out “MOD ACCESS, LOG IN!” the machine responds “VIOLET. ACCESS GRANTED. DOWNLOADING....” Just as Reggie’s suit begins to materialize around him, the woman in black opens fire at him three times.

Each shot is deflected by Reggie’s ModSpinSaber but the woman lays down a barrage of continuous fire, managing to successfully keep Reggie at bay. This standoff would continue, with the black-clad woman firing vigorously at Reggie, while Reggie could only stand there and deflect the shots as they came towards him. Just when it seems as though the standstill would continue, the woman moved her gun slightly. “He’s moving to the left...fire 90 degrees” the black clad woman mutters to herself. The shot hits Reggie’s wrist causing him to cry out in pain, and although his ModSuit prevented any major damage, he still felt the impact, and it hurt...a lot. With a gasp Reggie attempted to reach for his weapon but the woman opened fire on it, knocking it out of reach before firing on Reggie. Reggie dodged out of the way and hid behind a corner.

“You’re going to have to do better then that boy,” the black clad woman said in a taunting manner, ending it with a seductive chuckle. “Grrrr....” Reggie mumbles to himself in frustration. He comes out of his hiding spot now holding his ModBlaster, however the black-clad woman throws a combat knife at the gun knocking it out of his hand. Reggie lets out a gasp as he was now wide open for the woman’s barrage of gunfire. Reggie lets out a cry of pain as he’s knocked off his feet, with his transformation canceled. The woman slings the gun over her shoulder letting out a disappointing sigh; she never once moved from her standing spot. She shook her head saying “Tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk....that was truly pathetic boy. You have zero technique! You swing that sword as though a child with a stick and that stance? Don’t get me started! HOW you’ve managed to survive this long is beyond me.” Reggie struggles to get up saying “Don’t...don’t you look down on me!” before falls back down to the ground with a thud. The black clad woman laughs at the sight. “Boy, there’s a storm coming...and unless you don’t want to get swallowed up by it, I suggest you get stronger...let’s do this again someday” The woman blows a kiss at Reggie, and with a final giggle she vanishes in a storm of black feathers.

Deep in cyberspace, at the Anon Army fortress, alarms suddenly sounded and flaired. One after another, SpammerBots were taken out by gunfire. The same black-clad woman calmly walked into the dark throne room, reloading her rifle. As she steps into the center of the room, the door behind her suddenly closed shut and the lights turned on, revealing a small legion of SpammerBots that surrounded her in every direction. Agro Leet stood behind her with his sword on her shoulder while Hax stood in front holding a gun at point-blank range. “I don’t know who you are missy! But you better surrender now!” “GG, son!” Agro added. The woman could only laugh and began to mumble: “30 enemies in the room altogether...fire at 360 degrees....” A confused Hax blinked, before saying “Hey, are you daft? We said drop your weapons!”

Suddenly the woman made her move, she drops her rifle before shouting “Attack THUSLY!” She kicks Agro Leet where the sun don’t shine, causing Agro’s eyes to bulge out. In an instant, she grabs Agro’s arm and throws him over her shoulder. Hax lets out a shriek as both she and Agro are thrown across the room; their momentum and combined weight would knock over five SpammerBots behind them as though they were bowling pins. The woman then grabs her rifle before it hits the ground, spinning in a circle while firing everywhere. For a second it seemed as though her attack had no effect, but every SpammerBot in the room that was still standing fell over, with a smoking bullet hole seen in each of the SpammerBot’s vital spots.

“ENOUGH!” Viralindas cries as he suddenly enters the room. The black-clad woman kneeled down in front of the Anon Army commander. “Master...” Both Hax and Agro let out a surprised “Eeeeeeh!?” Raising his hand, Viralindas said- “RIIIIIISE...EAAASE....” The black clad woman gets up on her feet, and the armor around her retracted. She reveals herself as a fairly-human looking woman with glowing crimson eyes, dressed in a black leather goth outfit. She wore a choker with a red cross around her neck, and a single bat-wing earring dangling on her ear. She wore her long hair in a ponytail, and some parts of her body were clearly cybernetic.

She places a hand on her hip, sticking it out before saying “Pardon this intrusion, Master but I merely wished to test how my allies would fair in battle...and I can see their as pathetic and weak as the Rangers…” She narrows her eyes and glares over her shoulder at Agro and Hax. “Wut waz dat?!” an insulted Agro exclaims. “Why you!!!” An infuriated Hax balls her hands into fists and shoots mental flaming daggers at Ease. Viralindas bellows out a warning growl, and the two quickly calm down. “EAAASE IS MY SECOND LIEUTENANT...MOST POWERFUL COMMANDER...NO FIGHTING...AMONGST USSSSS!” “Hah...I see they have no backbone either...truly pathetic, but beggars can’t be choosers...” Ease shrugs much to the frustration of Agro and Hax. “My plan does involve these two in order to succeed after all...” Confused, Agro and Hax look at each other before they face Ease. “Plan? What plan?” Hax asks. “You’ve known where the Rangers were located for quite sometime now...I suggest we attack them directly.” Hax lets out a gasp and says “The Rangers beefed up the security since last time, and changed their IP address and passwords! I haven’t been able to break through their encryption!” Shaking her head, Ease grins and says “Leave everything to me...”

An infuriated Hax marches into her laboratory with her hands balled up into fists. “Oooooh that woman is infuriating!!! Who the hell does she think she is?!” she shouts, kicking over a stack of drum barrels before letting out a defeated sigh. “Even if her plan IS pretty good.” Hax walks to a capsule with crimson lining. Hax places a hand on the capsule and chuckles manically. “Soon...my ultimate creation...we’ll put the new blood in her place!”

While Reggie wanted to keep his embarrassing defeat a secret, the knowledge of a new powerful foe was information too important to keep to himself. The next day, Reggie quickly rushed to the base with the new info in hand. Tony stood, watching the footage from Reggie’s battle the other night while Matt was trying not to chuckle at Reggie’s rather embarrassing performance.

Kyle lets out a whistle while watching the footage. “Whoever she is, she’s handy with a gun, that’s for sure.” The footage ends with Ease repeating “Boy, there’s a storm coming...and unless you don’t want to get swallowed up by it, I suggest you get stronger...let’s do this again someday.” At that point, Tony paused the footage allowing the team to get a good look at the armor. Placing a hand on his chin, Tony entered a state of deep thought. “It’s obviously a warning...but for what I’m unsure.” “The armor...I have a feeling I’ve seen it somewhere before...” Reggie says. Tony nods “I was thinking the same thing...Ryan!” Ryan fiddled with his console, bringing up footage from Viralindas’s attack on the city.

He paused on a frame showing the mysterious white warrior that saved them. Though the image was blurry and out of focus, by squinting hard enough, one could make out some details of the armor. “They look almost identical.” Nathan comments. “But...the White one saved us...doesn’t that make him our ally?” Reggie asks. “Don’t be naive...we can’t assume that with such little information to go on...” Matt responds. Tony nods in agreement. “For now, we can’t trust either of them...but a new enemy is definitely bad news for us”

The air in the room suddenly grew heavy and silent. Minutes later the door slides open “O...Ohayō, minasan!...I have coffee and doughnuts for everyone and....whoa!” Ai suddenly tripped, tossing her box of doughnuts in the air. “Ai!” Reggie and Matt both shout at the same time. Matt is the first to react and successfully manages to catch Ai before she falls, much to Reggie’s annoyance. Both Nathan and Kyle would let out a gasp as the spilled coffee is thrown on top of them. It spills all over Nathan’s lap causing him to cry out: “YEEEEEEEowww! That’s hooooT.” Jordan gasps shouting “The doughnuts!!!!!” He catches the box before it could land on the ground. “Arigato, Matt-kun!” a grateful Ai would say. Matt smiles, and Reggie could only growl and grit his teeth at him. Seeing Kyle and Nathan covered in coffee, Ai lets out a gasp quickly getting napkins. “I...I’m so sorry, let me clean you up whoa!” Ai trips again but manages to catch herself on the round table, but the box of tissues flew out of her hands and hit Kyle square on the head. “What the hell man!?” an annoyed Nathan said, cleaning himself up with the tissue. “DAMN girl, you’re dangerous!” Kyle exclaims rubbing his head. Tony could only let out a deep sigh and facepalm as the chaos continued amongst the group with Ai repeatedly saying “I’m sorry,” narrowly losing balance or tripping once or twice as she tried to back away from the group. The chaos was interrupted by a sounding alarm. “I’m detecting multiple Viral signals from downtown!” Ryan shouts Tony nods “ModRangers, respond to this threat immediately!” The ModRangers each stood at attention; Jordan had a doughnut in his mouth while Nathan was still wearing his coffee soaked clothes. All together they salute and respond “Roger!” before leaving the room. Tony could only let out another sigh.

Across town the Anon Army was attacking the city. Leading them in the assault was a monster that could be best describe as a football player with large spikes in his shoulder pads and a semi-large football shaped head covered in a helmet. “That’s it SpammerBots do more! These humans are so weak it’s sad!” the football themed monster said, speaking in a typical tough guy voice while laughing. The team arrives on scene and see the monster. “Ugh...man is it just me or are these monsters getting weirder and weirder? It’s like...something out of the Showa era…” Nathan said. “Don’t worry guys. This’ll be a synch, we’ll bring home a touchdown!” Reggie says. The team all look towards him giving a “Really?” look. Reggie looks around and shrugs “What? Someone had to say it.” Jordan shakes his head strapping on his ModBelt, the rest follow suit with their own belts. Together, the ModRangers shout “MOD ACCESS, LOG IN!” Inserting the passes into the belts, the belts respond with:
“RED. ACCESS GRANTED. DOWNLOADING...”

“BLUE. ACCESS GRANTED. DOWNLOADING...”

“VIOLET. ACCESS GRANTED. DOWNLOADING…”

“GREEN. ACCESS GRANTED. DOWNLOADING...”

“BLACK. ACCESS GRANTED. DOWNLOADING...”


With their suits materializing on their bodies, the Football Monster says “Oh? What’s this! Looks like we got a new challenger boys!” “That’s right, so why don’t we tell you who you’re playing against?” Jordan says.
“Ore...Sanjou! Mod Red!”

“Spiky Courage! Shield of Tokunation! ModBlue!”

“The Princess of my Desires is my Hope in my Delusions! Newbie Mod! ModViolet!”
“Striking from across the Atlantic, the logic defying Moderator! ModGreen!”

“I am the one who will protect the Pink-haired Goddess. ModBlack!” All together the team shouts: “Banning scum and villainy across Tokunation! Tokunation Sentai...MODRANGER!” The group poses heroically as the team logo appears behind them. “Game on!” the football monster cries, as he breaks up their cool pose by attempting to ram into them with the spiky part of his shoulder. “That was close!” Reggie says, but suddenly he is tackled from behind by two Trollers. The group engages the group of SpammerBots, punching and kicking their way through the herd. Nathan is suddenly grabbed by a pair of Trollers shouting “H...hey what?! What are you doing? Let me go!” He struggles out of their grasp but the monsters refuse to let him go. At that moment, Nathan sees the Football Kamen monster charging towards him. “Uh oh...” Nathan says, as the monster shouts “PUUUUUUNT!!!!!” delivering a powerful kick into Nathan. Nathan lets out a cry of pain as he’s hit and sent flying.

Jordan and Reggie blast and slice their way through their SpammerBots, before seeing Nathan being thrown on top of them. “What the hell? Get off man!” Jordan cries. Kyle and Reggie would then suddenly be thrown into the dogpile as the group struggled to get off of one another. “Man is it just me, or are these guys more coordinated?” Reggie asks finally managing to get free. Jordan nods in agreement “Yeah I think it’s the monster...we’re gonna get nowhere like this!” The Football Kamen suddenly kicked a football towards the group. "HIT THE DECK!!!!" Jordan cries out. The team scatters as the ball lands just a few feet away from Reggie. Laughing and picking up the ball, Reggie asks “You guys are afraid of a little football...really?” A red light suddenly began blinking and Reggie quickly realized what the “Ball” really was. “...crap...” Reggie says as he’s caught in an explosion. “Reggie!” Jordan cries out. The smoke dissipated and Reggie coughs “I won’t be doing that again.” The football monster merely laughed at the sight.

Across town at the Internet cafe, an annoyed customer walks up to Niki and says “Hey! What gives?! My computer is on the fritz!” Behind him, a line of angry customers were forming. “I...I’m sorry sir, but all the computers are malfunctioning and...” Niki lets out a gasp seeing a group of SpammerBots lead by Ease and Agro appearing in the room. The man turns around and sees the group, letting out a scream. Panic erupts as people scramble out of the cafe. Ease leads the group to the back closet where Agro laughs “Dis is the Ranger’s secret HQ?! laaaaame.” Ease rolls her eyes “It’s UNDERNEATH this place...dolt!” A wire would shoot out of Ease’s body, attaching itself to the retinal scanner causing the doors to CPU HQ to open.

Down below, the alarms would sound and red lights began flashing as the base itself announced “UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS DETECTED, LOCKDOWN MODE ENGAGED.”
Every door in the entire base suddenly closed shut. On the camera, Tony saw a group led by Ease coming down the elevator shaft, which stopped once the Lockdown was engaged. But not even that was enough to deter them as Ease simply blasted through the floor and the group leapt down. Pressing a finger on the comlink, Tony shouts “Team, our base is under attack! I repeat we’re under attack! Return here ASAP!”

Over the comlink, Tony could hear the ModRangers’ battle with Football Kamen. “I’d love to Tony, but we got our hands full here! Arrrgh! We’ll send help as soon as we’re able!” Jordan says, before cutting transmission. Back at the battle, the team continued to struggle with Football Kamen’s seemingly flawless coordinated attacks. Football Kamen’s large fists would clash with Jordan’s sword. “R-Reggie! Matt! You guys need to head back to base pronto! While there’s still a base to get back to!” Jordan shouts. He breaks from the clash and manages to get two strikes on the Football Kamen monster. “Are you sure?” Reggie asks. “Get going! We’ll be fine!” Nathan says, deflecting attacks with his ModClawShield. “Don’t worry guys! We’ll be okay....the Goddess’ll protect us!” Kyle reassures them. “Alright..hang in there guys!” Reggie says as the two quickly leave the battle. “Tch...Ai, Max, Ryan...you three will need to escape.” Tony says. “What about you?” a concerned Ai asked. Tony looked up from his monitor and sees a thin laser beam was cutting its way through the door, slicing through the thick steel like a hot knife through butter. “Someone will have to cover your escape...” Tony says. The doors suddenly blew open and a legion of SpammerBots would flooded the room. Tony moves in front of the group shielding them. Ease and Agro walks into the room, and with a smirk, Ease looked towards a frightened Ai and only chuckled seductively. “You won’t lay a hand on these people!” Tony says. Agro laughs. “Who’s gonna stop us?! u? ha!” A grin came to Tony’s face. “You have no idea who you’re dealing with are you?”

In his hand, Tony slowly brought up a futuristic looking blade and inserts his Master ModPass shouting “MASTER ACCESS, LOG IN!”

“MASTER ACCESS, LOG IN!” Tony inserts his Master ModPass into the blade, and the “T” at the hilt suddenly lit up. The mechanics in the blade claim to life responding with “ACCESS GRANTED. MASTER LOGGING IN. DOWNLOADING.” Dark blue sparkles gathered around Tony’s body, and in a blue flash his ModSuit appeared around his body. Resembling DekaMaster’s suit, the warrior held his blade up facing the Anon forces. “Wut?! Who r u suppose ta b!?” a surprised Agro asked. Ai blinked and gasped in amazement. “ModMaster...remember it!” Tony said, getting into a fighting stance. “Fire!” Ease shouts, with the SpammerBots laying down a siege of laser fire. Gripping his sword, ModMaster would begin to deflect each shot, while Ai cowers behind them and shrieks. Ease raised a hand, and the SpammerBots stopped firing. When the smoke cleared Mod Master still stood there, not a single scratch on his suit. “What?!” Ease exclaims in surprise.

Underneath his helmet, Tony grins and says: “My turn!” His sword became covered in energy, and yelling at the top of his lungs, ModMaster brought down his blade in a downward horizontal slash. A wave of energy was released, and flew across the room. Ease and Agro barely managed to defend themselves from the attack, as Ai let out an amazed gasp upon seeing Tony take out a squad of enemies effortlessly with just one attack. “S...sugoi! Hontōni sugoi!!!” she exclaimed as the SpammerBots would then explode. Out of the smoke, ModMaster leapt towards Agro and Ease, engaging them in combat.

Agro readied his four swords, while Ease drew her combat knives. The trio clashed weapons, each strike would be skillfully parried by ModMaster, with neither of them managing to land a hit. “What are you waiting for?! Hurry and run while you have the chance! Go!” Tony shouts. “C”mon Ai, let’s go!” Getting up, Ai ran closely behind Ryan and Max as the three dashed out of the room. Noticing the three running, Ease shouts “Like I’d like you’d escape!” Breaking off from her attack on Master, Ease aimed her weapon at the escaping trio and fired, but the shot is blocked by ModMaster’s blade. Kicking Ease aside, Tony shouts “Your opponent is me!” Bringing his sword in a downward strike, Tony attacked, but Ease managed to dodge out of the way. It was at that moment that Ease noticed that he managed to nick off a piece of her armor. Ease chuckled, before saying “You’re strong...VERY strong...I’d like to keep playing with you...but unfortunately you’re not why I’m here...Agro!” As she dashed out of the room, Tony moved to intercept her but found Agro blocking his way. “U ain’t goin nowhere brah!” Agro brought down his four swords, but Tony leapt backwards. “Tch...fine, I’ll slice you first!!!” shouts Tony, dashing towards Agro.

The trio kept running down the hallway as fast as their legs could carry them. During their escape, Ai kept tripping. Finally fed up, Ryan says “Oh for the love of!!!” Picking up Ai, Ryan carried her, despite her objections. “You REALLY need to work on your hand-eye coordination and balance, Ai!” Ryan shouts as the two turned a corner. Ai blushed, replying with a soft “S...sumimasen”.

“Look!” Max saidpointing to the emergency exit straight ahead. As they approached closer, they found their path blocked by SpammerBots and Trollers. Another squad surrounded them from behind. “Tch....looks like we’re gonna have to fight our way out.” Ryan says, putting Ai down. “Ready Max?” Max looked at Ryan and nodded, with both of them whipping out a belt that resembled a crude version of the Modbelt. Strapping it around their waists, both shout “Admin Access, Login!” Silver and Gold lights covered the two, with their Admin Blank suits materializing on their bodies. “Stay close to us Ai...” Ryan said. The two of them move back to back, with Ai sandwiched in between them. “We’ll make an opening for you...and then you’ll have to run towards the exit...got that?” Max says. Ai nods and meekly replies “H...hai...” “And try not to trip this time,” said Ryan, who found Ai glaring at him, puffing up her cheeks. “Here they come!” A SpammerBot charged towards Ryan with his staff, but Ryan managed to block the staff by guarding with both of his arms. With all his might, he pushes the SpammerBot off with a kick.

Another Spammer comes from behind causing Ai to shriek, but Max would respond by back-kicking it away. Armed with a Blank sword, Max cut away at the Spammers as they came closer. Meanwhile, Ryan drew twin pistols and open fired in a continuous circle to make sure Ai was protected. Whipping around and holding his guns slanted, he fired at a group blocking the emergency escape. “Now! Ai! Go!” he shouted. Ai nods in response and began running, doing her best not to trip on her feet again. Just when she was about to reach the door, Ease arrived. With her rifle, she shot at the ceiling above the door. The resulting rock would block the exit causing Ai to finally trip. “Ai!” Both Ryan and Max shout. Ease fires a series of shots at both of them, with one of them managing to hit their ModBelts. Sparking, the belts announce “ERROR, TRANSMISSION TERMINATED.” Their belts explode, sending Ryan and Max off their feet and knocks them both unconscious. Ai nudged them, shouting “Ryan-San! Max-San! S... shikarishite!” With her gun slung over her shoulder, Ease approached Ai and reached down towards her, causing Ai to let out the loudest shriek she possibly could.

Shots bounced off Ease’s armor, causing her to stagger a bit. Annoyed, she turns her back and sees Reggie and Matt, both armed with ModBlasters. This little distraction allowed Ai the time she needed to run, hiding behind some rubble. Ease let out a chuckle .“Oh...it’s you again” she said, obviously not amused by their arrival. “Oooh, and you brought a friend with you this time, cute...I certainly hope he’s stronger than you were.” Matt laughed and responds: “Lady, Reggie is no where NEAR my league.” Reggie bellows out an annoyed grumble saying “I’m standing right HERE you know!”. “Then why don’t you both take me on? I was getting bored anyways,” she says. ModGigaDrill in hand, Matt shouts “Gladly!” while dashing forward. “Wait Matt! That’s not gonna work!” Immediately after he warned him, Reggie saw Matt being thrown passed him. Reggie let out a sigh and shook his head back and forth. “Dude haven’t you been paying attention?! That gun of her’s makes direct frontal assaults almost impossible!” Reggie says. He offers Matt a hand but Matt bats it away, managing to get up on his own. “So what do you suggest we do?! Just sit here and let her shoot at us!?” Reggie felt his frustration building. “No! That’s not what I’m saying we do. Geez, even though we did that bond thing, you STILL have to act like a jerk! You think you’re such a badass, and that’s why you gotta show off all the time! ESPECIALLY in front of Ai! Oh, it sure didn’t take you long to sweep in and ask her out on a date, now did it, Mr.Fancy Pants Hot Shot Hero?!” Reggie shouts pushing Matt. “What does that have to do with right freakin now!? Calm down man!” Matt exclaims while pushing Reggie back. Reggie shoves back harder exclaiming “Calm down?! Why don’t YOU calm down! Don’t tell ME to calm down!” Their arguing continued, eventually turning into an exchange of childish insults, profanities and curse words. Ease blinked, finding herself somewhat amused by watching the two arguing. She turned towards Ai and asked “Are they... always like this?” Ai lets out a deep sigh. “Unfortunately....” Ai gasped, as Ease took aim at the two of them silently. “This is almost too easy...” she says to herself. Ai shouts “Watch out!!!!!!” But it’s too late, Ease fires a shot towards them but Reggie was quick to notice. He pushed Matt out of the way, taking the shot square in the chest. Ease giggled at the sight, watching Reggie fall down onto the ground, his transformation canceling out.

“ClawShield ElectroStrike!” Nathan cried out, throwing his shield like a boomerang. The attack was successful in breaking up the enemy’s formation, while Kyle kept the group off focus by firing at them from a distance. This attack allowed Jordan to sweep in with his sword, dispatching the group of grunts as they fell behind him like dominos. “M...my teaaaaam!” the football monster cried out. Nathan’s shield came around for a second strike, managing to hit the football monster, sending it off its feet. “Good work, Nathan you figured out his play!” Jordan said. Nathan chuckles “Looks like watching football with my dad paid off! Even though I’d fall asleep halfway through...” Jordan nods. “Alright let’s finish him off!” The three ModRangers drew their ModBlasters, inserting their ModPasses. The firearm responds with “LOG IN ACCEPTED, CHARGING.” The three ModRangers lower their weapons, taking aim at the monster. The nozzles of their guns began to charge with energy and together, they shout “Fire!” Balls of energy in each of the ModBlasters flew out, before they collected together and formed a massive energy ball colliding with the Football Monster. The monster cried out “Game Over...I’ve been benched!” falling over and exploding. It didn’t take too long for Hax’s Upgrade Program to cause him to enlarge. “Tch...this guy’s persistent...ModMachines! Back at the base, ModMaster’s fight with Agro was nearing its conclusion. The two continued to clash weapons with each strike being successfully parried by ModMaster. Not once did Agro land a successful hit, much to his frustration and annoyance. They clash again, but this time ModMaster moved his blade in a semi-circular motion before cutting towards the left, causing Agro’s swords to fly out of his hand. “Wut?!” Agro cried in surprise. “It’s over!” ModMaster shouts, swinging his sword in a downward slash. Agro staggered back and gasped at the sight of ModMaster’s sword becoming enveloped by energy. “Tch...i’ll remember dis!” Agro says, vanishing into Cyberspace before the attack could hit. ModMaster quickly ran out of the room, upon hearing a noise that alarmed him.

The ModMachines already began engaging the Football Kamen monster. “You’re not the only one that can play rough!” Jordan cries as both he and Nathan rush the creature. The creature managed to successfully keep them at bay until Jordan and Nathan managed to dodge out of the way. “What?! Uh oh...” Kyle suddenly attacked the monster with a barrage of shots while Jordan came up from behind with a downward slash. “Lets end this guys!” Kyle and Nathan both say “Right!,” transforming ModEpsilon into cannon mode, while ModBeta transformed into shield mode. Jordan brought the shield down in front of him to act as a brace for the massive cannon. The cannon began to take in a massive amount of energy before Jordan cried out “Epsilon Cannon!! Fire!!!” The energy discharged and enveloped the monster. The monster let out a final cry in agony as it fell down and exploded in a tower of fire.

At the base, another shot hit Matt, causing him to fall to the ground. Matt’s transformation was also canceled out as Ease chuckled and took aim at the two downed ModRangers. Seeing this, Ai gasps and shouts: “REGGIE! MATT! NOOOOO!” Ease fired at the two but a white flash of light nullified Ease’s shot, and slammed into her armor. Ease cried in pain and staggered back. Holding onto her shoulder, Ease let out a gasp after seeing her attacker- a woman donning white armor stood in front of Matt and Reggie. “You!” Ease shouted, as the mysterious white-clad woman pointed her rapier-like sword in a fencing pose. But Ease, sensing the monster’s defeat and Agro’s retreat, said “Tsk...you got lucky boy...we’ll settle this another day!” before vanishing in a storm of black feathers.

Reggie managed to get up, holding his neck up with his arm. Glancing up, he found himself looking at the white-clad woman offering a hand to him. “S...so...you really are on our side?” Reggie asks. The woman simply nodded, as Reggie reluctantly took her hand and was helped onto his feet. She glanced back towards Ai for a moment before vanishing in a storm of white feathers. “Wait! What’s your name? Who are you? Why are you helping us?!” Reggie cries out, but the woman was already gone before she could answer. Matt approached Reggie with one hand in his pocket. Closing his eyes, he sighed and said, “Look Reg, there’s something you gotta know...” Reggie turned towards Matt, staring at him intensely. ""Yeah, I did intend to take Ai out without telling everyone. But at the restaurant, she couldn’t stop talking about you. She kept saying how cool and brave you were for taking on the role of Violet and well...when she realized that no one else was coming...she left. Must’ve tripped about three or four times on her way out.” Matt said. Reggie gasped in surprise and turned in Ai’s direction; she was trying to hide her face behind the rubble, her face was glowing redder than a pepper. “I...it’s true...I…I…I…I might be klutzy but I'm not dumb…and..well…I...don’t like being deceived and...um...it just didn’t...seem right...” Ai slinks back behind the rock trying to cover her face with it. All Reggie could do upon learning this new information was smile. He heard footsteps coming from down the hallway and said “MORE of them!?” He readied his belt in case he needed to transform, but upon seeing ModMaster approaching them, the two blinked in surprise. Even more surprised when ModMaster revealed himself to be Tony. “T-Tony...you’re a ranger too!?” Strapping his sword over his back, Tony nods and says “Of course, I didn’t get to become CPU Commander by pushing pens all day.” Tony rushes towards Ryan and Max whom were just getting back up. “Ugh....what happened? Is it over?” Max asks. Tony nods “Yeah they’re gone...but this place isn’t safe anymore. We’re going to have to move our base.”

Three days pass and the team hadn’t heard anything from Tony since. The Internet Cafe was closed down for good, leading Reggie and the rest of the team to worry. Of course the question on everyone’s mind was: “How could they continue to fight the Anons without CPU's resources backing them up?” On the third day, Reggie received a call from an urgent Jordan. “Dude! Meet up at the store, pronto!” he said in an excited tone. Confused, Reggie quickly went over. He saw the rest of the team gathered by the entrance of the store, closed for the day.

Stepping in, Reggie asked “What’s going on guys?” “You are NOT going to believe this...” said a smiling Jordan. He led the group to the back room and walked up to a wall. Moving some panels out of the way, they revealed a high-tech security setup. Reggie gasped as Jordan inserted his ModPass into a card reader. The Reader changed from Green to Red responding “ACCESS GRANTED, WELCOME” as the door opened, releasing some steam.

Descending in the elevator, Reggie let out a gasp at the sight of their new base, which looked exactly like their old one. “Welcome team...to the new CPU HQ!” Tony said.
