You know, while I'm really liking the writing, acting, and choreography on display so far, I have a hard time getting over the lack of practical armor. I'm really hoping that some actual suits show up at some point, because while this is definitely some of the best CG I've seen in tokusatsu, it still doesn't compare to seeing that glorious armor rendered in real life, and to think that for whatever reason, they can't do that anymore, that's a crying shame, because as I said, everything else has been fantastic these first three episodes.

Also, am I the only one noticing this: the music has a western tawng to it, Lian's costume features a brown coat and her pistol looks kinda steampunk-ish, the city looks all shiny and futuristic but seems kinda fascistic, and the heroes all have a more rough and tumble look to them...



I'm not the only one seeing this connection, right?
