So, I decided to give this a watch despite not even being halfway through Gokaiger.

Okay, here's what's making me dig the hell out of this show: the miniature work and the accompanying mecha scenes. Usually, when I think of Sentai mecha scenes, my mind instantly goes to "some smallish, not-very detailed buildings in the first few episodes, desert wasteland for the rest." And yet, here we've got Gobusters, with some of the best miniature work and kaiju/mecha choreography I've seen in a while. On a TV budget! You can actually feel the weight of these things as they move, and the pyrotechnics actually seem like they mean something, thanks to the miniatures looking like real buildings and cars and things.

Two things though: for starters, I've got a nasty feeling that they're not going to be able to keep up this kind of miniature work given the length of a typical Sentai show, and honestly, unless the story winds up being amazing, that will lose me.

Also, is anyone else finding the video quality on Over-Time's releases kinda shoddy? I'm getting a lot of elements and some sections that don't play right at all.
