I don't see how people saying "I wasn't invited" means they could be surprising anyone. The SPD cast seems pretty adamant about not being involved and wanting to crash the anniversary. Those who've come out and directly said, "I'm not going, and Saban is a douchebag" are probably not going as you don't tend to diss your employer when you're currently employed, even if it's for pennies on the dollar.
