I've been trying to figure out what Amemiya (I'm assuming he directed these last two himself) was going for with... well, this repeated image, specifically.



Between this and Rain's shpeale about "enjoy your womanhood," I think it's pretty obvious what this represents, but Amemita doesn't seem like the type to condemn female sexuality, and then Rian seems to be of that ilk as well, and she's distinctly not evil. Not to mention, that conversation doesn't happen until after Enhou's horror side first comes out. AND the horror, who is literally forcing her to do it in the dream, is male, so... yeah. Normally, I wouldn't drag this kind of stuff into a thread like this, but the imagery came up, and as anyone who's seen Hakaider knows, Keita Amemiya is MASTER OF SUBTLETY. Thus, I knew it had to be intended as something.

Imma go with "corruption of female sexuality." Helps make Amemiya's... costuming choices make more sense.

Oh, and the bar fight at the start of episode 4? Fucking yes. More of that, please.
