Uh yeah, it was serious. I'm talking about the themes and plots. Yes, there was comedy in it, but the comedy did not go full retard and it stayed serious. How about the episode with Jaraiya and his former sensei? Tsurihime and her father? The plot where the rangers had to split up to find the scrolls.
