You can't pick the best ranger...thats what I am saying. The concept of best is something that everyone agrees on. You wont get everyone to agree on the samething, especially in a fandom such as this. The only thing you can do is majority rules and thats pretty much a popularity contest.

Why is Tommy the best to me? Well...when I was younger, my parents got divorced and without going into to much detail, neither of my parents were role models for me. So I went looking for one. I found the Power Rangers, and more to the point, Tommy. I began to shape my morals off of his character and I am the person you see here (or read here lol) today because of the tutelage that these beloved characters brought to me without even realizing it. So yeah, thats why he is the best to me. Also I just loved how he was able to overcome all of the crap thrown his way throughout his career.

That is what I believe personifies the ideas behind being chosen to be a ranger, just like being a green lantern means you can overcome great fear. I might be looking through nostalgic glasses but thats okay. He was who I grew up and other characters will be the same to someone else.

This is just my reasoning for my choice of him being the best ranger to me. Hope this helps.

It does and I appreciate your story, I seriously do. It's stories like yours that give me faith in the fandom. Far too often do I hear the generic "because he's the best" or "he's cool" without something with a bit more substance behind it.

It doesn't mean that I'm discounting their opinion for "being the best" or "being cool" either, it's just that there's more to it. You've shown me that.

And I do agree, there's no "best Ranger." Besides Kelsey. He's a great Ranger who rock climbs and doesn't afraid of anything.
