Fixing the problems of people who have abusive parents or are just wrong in the head is difficult and can't be fixed with regulations.

I one thousand percent agree with this, the media and our society perpetuates this image of children as vessels of purity and innocence who are corrupted and twisted by the world, forgetting that well...that isn't really true. There were just as many assholes around me when I was a kid, as there are now I am an adult.

I mean what are the parents protecting the children from? What is society so afraid of that they cant admit children can do horrible, horrible things? They always have to bring up a game they played or show they watched as a reason, it's the child to blame, nothing else. Even if the show/game was the reason, it takes someone of an extremely damaged mental state in the first place to not be able to separate reality from fiction and go out murdering people.

There isn't always a neat and tidy explanation. That is the difference between these shows and real life.
