Metal Gear is awesome, discuss here! Anyone play the MSX ports of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2? HOLY CRAP THEY ARE HARD! They are on the Subsistence version of MGS3 on PS2, on the HD version of MGS3 Subsistence on the PS3/360 MGS HD Collection, and on MGS3 Subsistence HD from the upcoming MGS Collection for PS3.

A lot of people identify the look of Solid Snake from his portrayal on MGS by Yoji Shinkawa but I think the iconic look is actually attributed to the character designer of MG2: Solid Snake on MSX.

Currently replaying MGS3, via the Subsistence HD version on PS3. Forgot how hard it was to take out some of The Cobras.

I have the Play Arts Kai Solid Snake and Grey Fox. Grey Fox has better quality. Snake has some loose parts like his hands(WTF?) and his head. They also have thunder thighs like most PAKs. I wish Bandai would make D-Arts or even Medicom would make MAFEX figures...hell Medicom was one of the FEW companies to even get an MGS3/4 license for figures. I'm sure a MAFEX MGS Solid Snake would deter me from even wanting a D-Arts version.

MAFEX would kick ass since Medicom is no stranger to MGS.
