Guardian Hawk Megazord was delaying. Ankh continued laying on the assault, beating down against the Megazord's shield again and again in an attempt to break down their defenses. But the Sentai held steady. The reason was beneath them, the flashing red and blue lights coming from the First Responders pulling people to safety. Making sure no one else was hurt beneath. They only needed a few more precious moments... But Ankh wasn't giving them one.
"Everyone hold on! When I give the word, pour your energy into the Megazord!" Within the Great Mech the Five Colored Sentai held onto their control sticks. Holding on against the assault as best they could, even as Ankh drew his blade up, preparing for the final strike. But Melissa saw the chance she was hoping for "NOW!"
Flashing Yellow the Megazord's eyes narrowed, all five Sentai inside pouring their strength into the Great Guardian, and forcing the change... Hawk's wings split, becoming four mechanical feathered wings glowing brilliant white. And as the Megazord's mouth opened in a growl a face shield snapped shut around it. "GUARDIAN HAWK MEGAZORD FINAL STRIKE!" Each Sentai drove their sticks forward sending the Megazord charging forward. Wings outstretched, pushing outward hurtling the helpless Ankh into the nearby mountain range only to be freed. The Great Megazord took skyward, sliding the sword's handle into the top of it's great Shield. Holding the single weapon with both hands, raised far above the King's head.
The clouds around the Beast King swirled, creating a perfect circle of clear sky bathing the Megazord in pure sunlight and warmth. And the Megazord used that sunlight. Gathering it into his blade, making the silver weapon shine brilliantly against the darkness of the clouds. And when enough was gathered, the Great Megazord held onto the weapon tight. Thrusting the glowing blade down as it tore from the skies and charged towards the roaring General beneath them..
The blow came from nowhere and everywhere at once. The blast of darkness fired into the Megazord's stomach sending it hurtling backward, through whatever buildings were unlucky enough to be behind the machine, before it finally stopped laid up against a nearby mountain. Smoke billowing up from damage done across the entire mech, it's sword broken in half and shield shattered all around it. Inside the Sentai weren't faring much better. Crumpled along their consoles, groaning from the pain finding out what a bingo ball feels like. "Ugh..." Green forced himself onto his feet, offering the nearby downed Yellow a hand upright. While Black did the same for Red and Blue. "Is everyone alright....?" ".. Not for long... Look."

In turn each of the Exalted saw exactly what she had been looking at. One of the Elder Gods, one of the very beasts they were trying to prevent from coming had come. The Beast looked like a great upright standing Ram dressed in a long furred cloak, and holding the very staff used to break their Megazord. "Behold the God of War." "EVERYONE BRACE YOURS... GRAAAAH!" The first blow swept low, sending the crumpled Megazord tumbling off into the nearby cityscape. Rolling helplessly through building after building, and crushing anyone unfortunate enough to be beneath. "Your blasphemy before Us ends here, and it ends now. For I am Ares, the Right Hand of Odin, and I will not allow it any longer!"
Thrusting his ram headed staff skyward the clouds seemed to swirl around it. Becoming darker, moving quicker through the skies, swirling around him like some great tornado which reached from high above to the top pf his raised staff. "HEAVEN'S WRATH!" The staff was so very close to unleashing that great power, but something miraculous happened. Each of the Guardian Rangers watched with their eyes widened, Red with tears streaking from them, as something majestic descended from the skies.

Ares growled watching as his clouds broke, beautiful blue skies and the warmth of sunlight pouring out from the newly opened skies. And roaring from within the sunlight itself came their new champion. "Heaven has no Wrath, Only Judgment.. And I have come to Judge you! EXALTED DRAGON KING, FORM CHANGE!” From atop the head of the mechanical dragon, Exalted Dragon leapt into the cockpit of his beloved mount. And the beast’s eyes glimmered in crimson. The Dragon itself was long as thirty two football fields, mimicking the Chinese Dragons of Lore, with long antlers and fore short claws limbs, and that destructive tail spade with the cannon at the tail tip. The Beast was dark orange with black details along the sides.. and now it changed! The Entire Beast broke itself in half! The front half split open down the middle allowing the Head to fold down and become what would become the chest of the Warrior Mode. With the body snapping into place on either side, two panels lifted to become shoulder armor with arms lowering down from either side. The bottom half the beast split itself down the middle, folding over to become the legs and lower half of the Dragon Warrior! And when they connected, sparks showering down from each point, the Warrior was complete with a long staff. Topped by the Cannon Tail Spade from it’s Dragon Mode. All that was needed.. Was the head lifting from the Dragon’s. A tribute to Ryuusei-Oh.

EXALTED DRAGON PRINCE!

Ares roared his anger so deep the ground shook as violently as when he now took charge after the returned Dragon, drawing his staff up for an awesome blow.. But Dragon merely rose his staff, side-stepping the blow and sending Ares stumbling forward with a kick from behind. “You’ve hurt these people enough, Ares!” The Prince’s turn to charge forward! Using the Staff as a great pole vault, with a nearby building as the block, the Dragon Warrior launched himself skyward back through the break in the clouds he created!

“I CALL ON THE ANCIENT GUARDIANS!”

The Exalted Rangers all watched on, having escaped their downed Megazord, as their Zords broke apart and took skyward for the flying Dragon Warrior! The arms folded once more into the shoulder armor, the legs bent themselves at the knee and laid flat against the back of the legs, and the staff began swirling around the Warrior as the rest of the Zords combined!
Hawk and Wolf soared for the skies beside one another. Hawk’s wings splitting from the great Bird, and both changing themselves into Arms, with their animal heads as the wrists before they attached in to the shoulders with a shower of sparks. Both mouths opening to reveal black robotic hands from inside. Kong and Manta flew in perfect formation. Manta’s wings folding into it’s back, Kong’s long arms doing the same, while Manta’s tail straightened and broke off. Kong’s head folded into the body, while Manta’s folded down to blend seamlessly into the newly formed leg. And as both attached the great beast hurtled towards the ground! And then came Oxen. The Great Beast broke into four equal parts and the head. The back quarters straightened and folded, beside the front quarters with began to do the same, and attached to the back of the Megazord becoming thrusters. Giving the Hawk’s wings something to attach themselves to as they swooped down from the skies above and locked into place, becoming a brilliant gold. The tail of the Manta was next, attaching to one end of the Dragon Spear, becoming the Lance of the Exalted.. And the final piece. The Oxen Head slid over Dragon’s chest, nose down and horns raised. While from within a new head rose up and covered Dragon’s! Great Horns of the Knighted Head shined in the sunlight from the above.
From beneath each Exalted Guardian, dumbfounded from what they just watched, found themselves teleported into their newly repaired main cockpit. With Orange standing in the center. Each of them awe struck by the spiked armor, and featureless mask.. and what he had just done. “Questions Later. Focus yourselves into your Beast, we need each other to beat him.” Each Ranger nodded, including the still shaken Red.

Holding the spear forward the Megazord’s visor gleamed crimson, it’s mouth opened to roar violently, as the spear itself burned itself away. Becoming the Exalted Guardian Saber! Ares struck his staff into the ground, creating a great tremor meant to swallow the newly formed combination into the bowels of the Earth.. But King merely spread his wings, all four thrusters rumbling to life and sending the great Megazord skyward! While Ares watched, both hands gripped the sword tight and swung it high above the Zord's head..
The Kong Zord began to glow, causing flames to swirl and gather around the blade. Next the Oxen began to brightly shine, causing Ares to stumble and defend himself as boulders broke from the ground around him and took for the weapon. Next came Hawk. The winds gathering, whipping violently around the flaming sword. Protecting it as Manta called upon her power and rains began to fall. Water swirling around the blade in a great torrent. Wolf came after, leaves sharp as blades ripped from trees beneath them began to add to the blade’s power.. And finally Dragon. The King of Them roared as all the elements combined together and formed a great dragon made from them all.

And each one soaring around the blade as it glinted brightly in the shining sunlight! And all together they cried..

ELEMENTAL JUDGMENT!

The Megazord swung the weapon higher as it began to fall. Hurtling towards the ground at such incredible speed a halo was formed behind from the sonic boom alone.. And all Ares could do was growl his frustration as the great Megazord landed that final blow, slicing him straight down through the middle, only for the Old One to detonate as if a great bomb..

And when the smoke cleared. Within the crater that was once Downtown, stood the Megazord King alone. Holding his saber, and folding his wings close in against his back.

Melissa ripped off her helmet the instant their feet touched solid Earth, unthinkingly rushing off towards Orange and throwing her arms around him tight! “Alastair! ... Alastair I thought you had died protecting Father.. How.. How did you get here, where did this power come fro..” Orange gripped her shoulders, and pushed his once beloved sister away. She was shocked, staring at him in complete disbelief. “What is the matter with you, Melissa. Look!” The Orange Sentai forced her attention towards the destruction around them, emergency crews doing their best.. but the city was a complete loss. “These people have lost everything, need our help, and you selfishly think of only your own feelings. You do not deserve to lead this team.” Dwayne, Exalted Green, stepped forward to defend Melissa but Malcolm laid one strong hand on his shoulder with enough pressure to change his mind. Much as that pissed him off.
Red hung her head. His words hurt.. but.. She gave an understanding nod. “Yes Brother. Everyone, fan out. Help as many people as you can, use your Zords if need be to help with Evacuation.”

The Government had decided that the City should be abandoned. The now refugee citizens taken to outlaying suburban areas and cities, while Exalted Prince had decided that they should remain. Whatever the Old Ones wanted was beneath the ruins of the city, and they were the last ones to stand and prevent it. Luckily a few houses survived the assaults so they were able to survive rather well, in part thanks to supplies air-dropped by Governmental Forces.
Inside their house, Malory, Jennifer, and Melissa had just finished setting up what they needed. With Dwayne and Malcolm across the street with Alastair. And Jennifer.. her mind started to wander a little. Back to win the city wasn’t a war zone, and she didn’t know what the heck an Old One was..
