I wouldn't say it's universal, but I've heard a decent amount of talk about how Haruto doesn't feel like a main Rider and I think it's because a lot of people came in with W, OOO, and Fourze, where the leads are varying degrees of goofy and loud. Haruto is a much calmer and more collected lead than anyone we've seen since Hibiki and I think it's throwing people who are newer to the show and expect the more broadly comedic leads.
