By the end of the series the Horoscopes are just regular Monsters of the Fortnight. They become a lot less cool once the writers realized they had about half of them left to introduce and the show was 75% over.

Probably. I know that the TVN Kyoryuger subs just translate Nossan's dialogue straight and put a translator's note at the top of the page. It pretty effectively kills all of the puns. I can't even imagine what their Akibaranger subs look like.
