Okay, I remember THAT, I don't remember anything besides that. Did anything else happen? Because, despite the quickness with which that occurred, I really liked it. I think in large part because I latched on to Shotaro, the entire series, to me, is his story more than anyone else. All the stuff with Philip discovering who he was, while interesting, I saw it in light of it's effect on, and what it meant to/for Shotaro.
The same with the ending. Maybe, from a storytelling perspective, it was weak in comparison to the previous episode, but for me, it was all about how it related to Shotaro.
Man, this discussion really makes me want to watch Double again.
