Also the production values for the first few episodes are not indicative of the series overall. For some reason the first three or so episodes look really weird. If you watch the show in HD it's actually quite nice.

How long til Ryo grows some balls? I dunno how long I can stand his wimpiness. But Momo was awesome, you could tell they were trying to do a similar think with Ankh but he ain't nearly as cool.

I watched in HD and I still thought it looked horrible. The shitty filters on the clouds, the horrendous PS2 cut scene sequences with the DenLiner, the jerky editing to do the effect where he opens the door and he is in the other world (literally next to the door so it's clearly in shot is a reflection of a man walk past, who suddenly skips back and walks past for a second time).
