Malory fought through tears stinging her blue eyes. Yet her aim remained true as her heart. Her legs pumped beneath her, swiftly dashing between trees and around the underbrush. Every pull of the string sending an arrow of mystical blue energy through the air with an angered sizzle, and every time one struck an enemy and they fell was therapeutic. Cathartic.
One of the Lizardmen thrall caught her from behind. Hooking his arms beneath hers, trapping her arms behind her. Allowing one of his brethren to raise his axe.. But Exalted Blue wasn’t going to just lay down. Jamming the sharpened end of her Bow into the creature’s foot, he released her just in time for her to roll away. And his fellow Lizard to catch him midchest with his axe. The beast that once held her howled before falling to his knees dead. And as his angered brother turned, all he saw was Malory aiming one of her arrows between his eyes at point blank range. Until she let the string go, and blew a hole in one side of his head and out of the other.
Exalted Blue was moving again. Rushing through the wood, taking down more of the creatures as she went.. But another had gripped her! The Harpy cackled madly. Holding Exalted by her shoulders using her Hawk like feet to hold her still and carry her off into the skies. Malory growled trying to break free.. Despite being far above the treetops. She just wanted free!
Pulling her bow up, she aimed a single shot through the Bird’s chest.. The blow struck. The talons freed her, and Malory tumbled. Air rushing past her so deafening. Blocking everything else away.. She just closed her eyes and waited for the end.

“Malory? Why are you giving up.. I miss you, Malory. But not like this.. please not like this. You need to fight. You need to protect all those people that I can’t now.. Please, Mal, please.. Open your eyes! PLEASE!”

Malory’s eyes shot opened wide.

“JENNIFER?! No... NO!”

Exalted Blue took her Bow within both hands, the string melting away as she extended the weapon into a proper recurve long bow molded after the majestic Manta Ray which had given her, her power. A single spin, and it was though she was back in high school. Taking the high dive like she had countless times before. As she fell, the ground hurtling towards her quicker and quicker still, the Exalted Suit she had worn so proudly shredded around her. Sending her body into a swift spine, like some great spiral descending from heaven.

EXALTED MANTA KNIGHT!

Around her, glowing brilliantly blue, the tattered and torn pieces of her suit reformed against her naked flesh. Brilliant shining blue clung against her. Ribbons wrapping themselves around her lower legs and feet, forearms and hands, forming sweeping gauntlets and boots. And as she opened her eyes the Great Manta itself broke the clouds and formed above her. The Beast becoming one with her, forming her chest piece and long flowing winged cape, with a long sharpened tail behind.
The ground beneath her shook as she took that final flip forward and landed perfectly. Standing tall within the crater created from her power. A single fluid movement brought her right arm before her exposed face creating her helmet. Shaped like the great Manta Ray itself.

I will be the final Protector of those who can’t fight themselves.

Brushing her foot behind her Knight Blue took back her bow and let ring a shot that tore through the woods. Splintering each and every tree it passed, bursting every Lizardman and Harpy unlucky enough to be to close when the shot passed until it struck the back of another of the Dragon Generals and destroyed him easily as the others. Red watched on, giving a nod of thanks.

But Blue wasn’t finished. Spreading the wings of her cape wide behind her she took flight, using the gift that Jennifer had bestowed upon her sister, and soared through the woods. Expertly moving between the trees, taking shot after shot and destroyed each and every Lizardman and Harpy she passed. Passing Dwayne as he fought off enemies of his own.. She had a target.
Landing with an elegant grace, one foot before the next, she found herself face to face with Cassandra. Death’s second. The red skinned Harpy cackling and wearing Jennifer’s coat like some twisted trophy.

That doesn’t belong to you.

Cassandra charged. And Blue Knight moved back one step at a time, dodging each and every savage claw and attempted kick. And when the Axe came down over her head, Blue flipped backward in one elegant motion and fired a shot from her bow shattering the weapon in Cassandra’s hand.

You are a creature of Death. And it’s time he received a lesson of his own.

EXALTED MANTA SHOCKWAVE!

Exalted Blue Knight aimed her weapon. Pulling the draw string back as the weapon itself became her Manta Ray Guardian. And when her hand let go, the Manta shot from her hand straight and true. Burning blue and striking Cassandra dead center.. The Harpy screamed, throwing her arms out at her sides and crying out her agony until she finally gave to the pain and detonated.
And Malory simply turned and returned back to her normal state, holding her sister’s coat draped over her left arm. As her right still held her weapon.

“Find forgiveness somewhere else, because I don’t have any left.”
