Anyone played
Journey
? I just did and it has to be the most beautiful experience in gaming I've had since Shadow of the Colossus.
Although everything about it is amazing, the most beautiful part has to be the companions you meet along the way. I met some anonymous players who I worked out the puzzles with and towards the end, when the journey gets really perilous, I found myself worrying for them and deeply appreciating their companionship. It felt like we really went through a lot together though I had neither name nor face to place to the players.
I think any game that makes you feel so strongly for anonymous people that you can't talk or communicate with beyond simple actions is really something.
It wasn't cheap for its length, but every cent spent on this set (that included the interesting Flow and the similarly beautiful Flower) was well spent. It was a truly heartfelt gaming experience.

Skyrim's level design has improved over Oblivion's (which was truly horrid) but sometimes it can get frustrating, yes. I still think Dwarven (Dwemer) lore in Morrowind is the best but Skyrim does a great job too.
