But playing Ares is an uphill battle that I enjoy. Having played SF3, SF4, and MvC3 online, I like playing an underdog character.

I tried a few characters before I settled on Wonder Woman - I was actually maining Lobo for about a week after he came out. I just got tired of his total lack of options against zoning. Wondy was mostly just a nice combination of having and loving the #600 skin and specifically wanting more options against Hawkgirl than "stand there and die" or "run around and die."

I'd played Wonder Woman during story mode, of course, but didn't warm up to her that much. But then I tried her in arcade mode and did pretty well, so I tried her out online... and did alarmingly well. Despite some reservations about my skill level at first, I just tore people up with her. So I've stuck with her, added a good mixture of combos and tactics, and am continuing to have a ton of fun. And if I'm having an off day or some bad match-ups, I just switch to Batgirl.
