there certainly is something about the regular version that I like, but I have to say I prefer the more cohesive look of the Black/Gold version. Also I got it for not much more than you said you paid for yours, so I'm definitely happy with it.

Nice! I was definitely tempted by the black gold set. I could have gotten one for nothing much more than I paid for my regular color set but I usually have a preference for show colors is all. The Ultimate Dai Bouken is a beast for sure. Though by most Sentai Mecha standards it is tiny! The Gobuster Ace is as tall as a full Ultimate Dai Bouken
