Also, it wasn't a criticism so much, MMPR Megazord stuff is about as good as mech stuff gets in the show but the suit ain't great. I'd happily take it over the stacking.

If someone didn't know anything about the franchise of course it wouldn't mean anything to them. Why would it? They don't get any of the references or jokes at all. If you've seen 7 or 8 sentai at least then I'd say that show is more relatable, but it's a great show none the less. Very fun and very over the top, just the way I like 'em!

The Zyuranger mecha were a massive upgrade from the way sentai robos used to be designed and built. Way more went into their production than even the previous season, jetman. But don't let that detract from Jetman. Jet Icarus, Garuda, and Tetra Boy were pretty damn awesome even if they were the classic boxy style.

Gotta agree that aside from 3 or 4 people I've talked to on the board that show is pretty well liked/loved.
